Hi Marina! Great cities! Thanks for this video! Waiting for part 2 ☺️ (Btw for me it was a bit strange when the video ended without something like "good bye, see you in part 2")
These in general indeed aren't the places the average traveler would visit, since they simply are not well-known. How about the city of Leiden..? This also is a typical city the average traveler would not visit. although the city of Leiden is much older and culture-richer than the city of Amsterdam is. In fact in Leiden used to be a very important roman fortress called Castellum Matilo, and this fortress dates from the year 0046. Whereas Amsterdam dates from 1000 years later. In fact all of the places you've pointed out to us all they are much more interesting then the major "Over-lander" backpackers travelers would visit.
Advice, if ever you go visit Hoorn, you should go to Enkhuizen as well. But, only in summer. It is - my opinion - way more interesting and beautiful compared to Hoorn, and it has an amazing open air museum
Hey Marina, You did a very good effort pronouncing the city names. But it is AP-PING-E-DAM (the G has not the typical ggghhhh sound! ) and it is Vlis-sing-en (and again the G is not the ggghh sound!) Hope you are not getting desperate learning Dutch ;-) We still understand you 🙂 - More or less 😛 I will await Part 2! And after that I will make additional recommendations 🙂
@@expatfamilylive9041 Fact: I passed by yesterday driving from Groningen back through the Flevopolder to Antwerpen! Hey.. Plan a trip to Antwerpen!? I gladly organize and guide a kid friendly tour!
my goodness, you are relentless! how will I ever find the time to visit so many places , and I am living in the Netherlands (btw, hoe gaat het met de taalcursus?)
Haarlem, Leiden, Alkmaar, Enkhuizen, Delft, Zierikzee, Middelharnis, Brielle, Oudewater, Deventer, Maastricht, Den Bosch, Sneek, Gorichem, Woudrichem, Schoonhoven, Kampen, Stavoren, Medemblik, Urk, Utrecht, Wijk bij Duurstede, ...you're not finished yet.
Big thanks!!! Some of them will appear in the Part 2
@@expatfamilylive9041 | ... and some more suggestions; ...Naarden, Muiden, Spakenburg, Gouda, Schiedam, Franeker, Elburg, Nieuwpoort, Veere.

We don't know about this place yet.

Thank you, we've been there twice and there is even a video about it :) It's one of our favourite museums th-cam.com/video/tPQZQNMtO-A/w-d-xo.html
If you need a guide for Zwolle, let me know.
Thank you!
Marina, je zegt Dordrecht perfect! Maar Breda is een beetje anders, het is Bréda, de a heeft net zoveel accent als de é. ❤️
Thank you :) there is a big way with Dutch ahead :)
💖💖
Much love back to you
The most wonderful place in The Netherlands is undisputable Waalwijk

Thank you so much, Hans :) Dutch is tricky but we are absorbing it step by step :)
I have to say that Marina does far better than I do, to pronounce Dutch words and Dutch cities names (I have been living here for 17 years) :D
