- As promised, here is a look at the Carisma RC (mostly) chassis that mattel used in these collectors tesla cyber trucks. Not a bad foundation, and it fits other things...

I was gifted one of these around a month ago. I was kinda surprised by it's speed to be honest.. but it's definitely not the fastest thing I got lol. Now I changed the motor and esc and servo. I put a hobbywing Quicrun 10BL120 sensored esc into it and a castle sensored motor in it and honestly it's pretty bad ass now lol. I dont use it much but it does run 50+ mph now lol
I like the tires with that body. One item should remain from the cyber truck
it is a hot wheels, they used to make hot rods where the engine would stick out of the hood a good six feet....maybe something like that...being true to form
I got the 80 buck one from Walmart tonight and I plan on upgrading it to fully hobby grade electrictronics I’ll probably only make it brushed since it has plastic gears and stuff

Woah! They have made several different versions since this one. So it may be completely different inside. This one did not come with the 4wheeler and came in a huge metal case.
I like the Cyburban idea, that chassis seems perfect for it. Maybe build a custom chassis for the Cyber truck body and use the wheels you had sitting under the body during the video, they looked really good.
Build the drift Suburban 👍 would love to see what you come up with

It would be awesome to see that suburban body on the cybertruck chassis. It would be unique and would make lowering it very easy
This is the first time seeing one of these.. can't wait to see them hopped n body swapped 💪🤘 same wheel base as my long bed rc4wd Chevy. I could see a muscle truck build in my future 🤔

It looks like my 71 Chevy c10 ..last suburban I owned in that body style was orange and white ..I put a set of Mickey Thomson n-50 15s and 6 inch wide on the front on craigar s/s wheels and I put a set of mac side pipes on it lowered the front with 3 inch drop springs I put a LS 454 and a T-5 muncy..tinted the windows black ..and used it as the family grocery gitter..it was a great truck and would even haul my old flat bottom John boat ..we used it a lot for camping even slept in it ..wen it rained we sat in the back and fished ..I hated to sell it ..but sold it for a down payment on a house ..

Do the suburban build. That's what rc is for. Yes it can be expensive but that body fits perfectly.

Hmm...perhaps make somekind of tiny tire scale truck with the cybertruck? Perhaps simulate tarnished stainless steel look somehow? I imagine the admittedly expensive but very narrow BRX01 could fit under it. Also oddly, I've had nothing but good luck with the 2X paints. I use em on everything from my 1:1 to my few static model kits.
I think you should blow the cyber truck up and keep the chassis for the burban

I have plans to get the cyber truck body and put onto the gen8 chassis as it has very adjustable wheelbase.
Also hoping proline can get licensing and make a lexan version.

If It's too expensive to hack up and will depreciate massively if you use it too much and trash it, I say reassemble it box it up and get rid matey! Get your cash back best you can! And buy a new chassis for the Burb! 😁👍
Actually taking a look at the interoior I see why this car is so expensive. They really made it look nice on the inside too, even under the body.
If your not using the body I would be interested in buying it for a class 2 crawler build!
Id buy a second one in your position. A modifed cybertruck will still be worth money 20 years from now

Why did Hotwheels make the CT tray with a bump? Was it done to clear rear suspension?

I had no idea Hot Wheels did such a thing. Either way go with the Suburban body on the Hot Wheels chassis or Carisma chassis.

MST CMX has small chassis ... they are designed for CC01 bodies, 195mm wide, should be ok with the Tesla body (though you'll have to significantly enlarge its wheelbase)
Definitely think you should put the suburban body on a crawler. Cyber truck should be driven off as many cliffs as it takes to blow it up.
It's proper 1-10 scale, most are around 1-9 scale. I make all my printed car/trucks proper 1-10, just looks better.
Tesla body needs to go on like a rs4 nitro chassis.🤔

The Cyber Trucks are pretty ugly and the wheels it came with are heinous lol. But it has potential, I think it would make a pretty cool slammed to the ground rat rot or a monster truck.
