Season 8 got me like “WTF!!!???” Cause I already just got Liu Kang’s order of darkness skin it’s a weekly quest item so why do we need Liu Kang to have a season
My biggest fear was that “Soul Eater” was going to be a rehash of the base MK1 story, but this was a surprising twist on Shang’s character. Soul magic corrupting him to the point where he NEEDS souls to survive is a dark element that’s been missing from MK.
Now we can get Liu kang’s new evil twin but could be revenent from mkx, zombie version from the old version of mortal Kombat or a tyrant version which he lost kitana just like Superman in injustice
Hopefully we get a Quan Chi season so we can finally get that skin. He needs his own season instead of being a Titan battle, this way we can also have Quan Chi-themed skins for everyone
@elijahhunter9629 I dont think that matters to be honest they seem to be going through the regular cast so Sindel at some point would make sense, the storymode but we've also had the old evil Shang but we got an evil version of him here still and other versions like Hanzo from the older timeline but still got them. They can do Sindel or an evil version of her for sure.

@@MKF30 well the default Order of Darkness Shang Tsung skin wasn't obtainable until this season all of the Titan bosses have given the default Order of Darkness skin from the story mode Sindel and Geras have had their's obtainable in the Shrine since launch they have never given a season final boss a deferent skin from the one in the story mode
A possible good invasion where the invading Liu Kang wishes to train Current Liu kang for more dangerous timelines. basically, the past few invasions have been all evil. would be a good subversion

That ending (Shang Tsung escaping to Seido) makes me wish Ruins of Seido would be one of the new stage in MK1 expansion.
We never know it could be in the story expansion that would be cool
