Had it for 4 years, now it feels as if its not blowing the freezing air it used to. Still cool but not as brand new. I need answers too, on how to change the coolant, help!
I have this but notice there dust in the lower intake filer doesn't seem to be a way to clean it tho 😢 I looked at instructions and mentions Nothings any ideas? Thanx
I’ve got the inventor epic older model bought it three summers ago, best thing I ever bought! Excellent at cooling my large through lounge. Godsend during Uk heatwaves worth every penny to be comfortable at home!
@@ABJH97 yea it is an ac their just portable ones, nice n cold in my through lounge I sometimes have to turn it down, very good brand I highly recommend
@@HypingTechyearly? Heard a slushing sound in the few days i been using so decided to look into the machine with the holes for the water and it came out with about 4/5 cups of water. Didn’t know about that as i read about the instructions saying its for the dehumidifier not the ac itself. So now, i’ll put a empty 1ltr bottle with the hose it comes with so i can empty it whenever
Depends on the angles, but yes, i dont use a window kit. It works fine. A window kit just ensures a seal, so pests flies mosquitos cant get into the room when ur sleep
@@Faded_Fragger tbh, it works, feels like you are in a fridge when it blows on you. i am confident that ill be fine through the final heatwave this year. But just measure your room to make sure its more than enough for your size room.
I have a loft room also and my room within the summer has been going up to roughly around 26-28 also, is this a good purchase overall and if so how much money is it costing you? for example like per hour so i could get an idea!! @@nicolaredway4343 I bought it and it's been wonderful...I cools down the room pretty quick and it doesn't leak when you use the cooling setting...I don't use the humidifier as I have no need for it... it doesn't leak and I don't have to drain it so far...been using it for 2 weeks now everyday whenever I'm in the room.
had this for well over a year , it is awesome
How do you use timer I can’t work it out?
Can you have it so it turns itself off
Got one of these, absolute life saver here in the UK during the heatwaves and also for removing humidity which we do get a lot in summer.
Ordered!! Thank you! 👍
Hope you like it!
Great review, thanks for the details, good to see it in action before purchasing
Got the same model and it’s awesome
Thank you for this! Mine says Magnavox on it -- same unit!
Does it stay cold the room?
Please show us how to change the coolant! Thanks!
How long does the refrigerant last and is it possible / easy to refill (DIY or professional)?

Anyone know how to open this up, want to clean the bottom vent

Can i convert this one into a dual hose system?

I’m find this new model not as good as the older one. Wouldn’t recommend.
Can you do a DIY dual hose on this unit?
How much electric does it cost?
Also how loud is it indoors and outdoors? I don't want to drive my neighbours crazy with the noise. ;-)
1kW per 60 mins in cool mode
@@KolTregaskes it's noisy but my neighbours didn't make complains for now :)
How noise is sleep mode ?? Or low ac fan?
Hows it holding up ? Still ok ?
Yes, just drain the water every year

What is the highest and lowest temperature that the unit goes to?
16-30
Would it work without a window sealing kit, ie just venting it out a slightly open window.
I saw a comment somewhere , I believe on Amazon , saying he doesn't use the window kit and it works just fine.

Did it survive and make any difference during last years 40 degree heatwave?
Yes I'm glad I bought it

Does it leak a lot of water?
Nope there is an option on the back with a screw cap to drain water it has collected from the atmosphere.
Do you need to drain it regularly? Is there much upkeep?
