I’ve been doing a version of this with Veevus pearl tinsel a light pink metallic bead, and various ice dub for a collar. The pearl tinsel is nice because different color threads show through differently. Has been my number productive fly this spring.
What size is the holographic tinsel. I looked at the link for the materials and it lists flashabou for the body not tinsel?
In the video you call it a brass bead. On the website it's a tungsten bead. Since you've been using this as a dropper fly, is it brass or tungsten?
spikeconley it’s tungsten
oh this is a Holgraphic Nymph :-)
surprised you didn't name it the Oilslick Frenchie
Dang....you're way ahead of me there. Might have to get a rename at some point. Strong work!
