Fly Fish Food - กีฬา
Great pattern, I just finished tying some of those Slick Willies! I love that CDC, natural squirrel blend for the collar. :-) Thanks again for these instructional and fun videos!
For a future podcast or tying video discussion: when to use the various dubbing techniques, and why?
Devin is a legend, but until he has a "that's Devin Olsen right there" story hes still holding Lance's Dr pepper...
Great pattern. What type of hook did you use to tie this fly? Thanks!
Love this pattern but doesn't Devin use a CDL tail on top of the Glow Bright?
MDD MDD nope
@@FlyFishFood you're correct - sorry to question the great Cheech :) I was thinking of the Cross Over Nymph. My bad - I will take my punishment like a man :)
Cheech is cool
I'm pretty sure Devin would say that it's suppose to be a tag, not a tail. The tag is too long. Btw ... this is my most productive fly!
iride aduck whelp. Good thing fish are dumb
I'm pretty sure devin would say "ask the fish , they will tell u "
Say it slowly for everyone in the back row V-A-R-I-A-T-I-O-N. Appreciate creativeness and stop nit picking variations. That’s literally the point of variations to try new/different things on already proven patterns to see if something adds to the catch rate.
@@crendog85 "slight variation with some squirrel as the soft hackle. " Devin's already talked about most folks make a tail in lieu of a tag. I think he's already explored variation in length.
Are you fishing for Albert Einstein? Fish don’t care if the tag is a tad longer or shorter. If anything it should be longer than shorter to add extra attractor element. I think you’re giving fish too much credit. A good drift with either will fish perfectly fine.
Woohoo first view first like!!!
