I wonder why using traditional housing near the shifter in the bar-bend instead of running the link all the way to the shifters?
I think the best thing of link system is it bend very well. And there are significant tight bend near the handle bar, so why using traditional cable there instead of running the link all the way to the shifter?

I have exactly the same question. Does anyone know the answer?

Same question. Why use the old cgx cable style??

I used the mtb elite for rear derailleur, NO sharp bends and it was terrible, everything fitted as directed. Looks great but preformed bad.

Pourquoi vous couper le liner en plusieurs morceaux, ne serait il pas mieux de le laisser en un seul morceau du shifter jusqu'au derrailleur

Although this video is nicely produced, I cannot follow parts of it. For one, it assumes there's already cabling. Yet I purchased the set for a frameset. Then, I've internal liners for internal cabling. The rear brake cable doesn't need to be cut, but can go through the frame. But then, how do I measure everything? To what length? Etc.

Well, none of the supplied ends fit into mounts of Shimano Ultegra 6800 nor 105 brakes. Better go with other cabling on new installs. :-(
