I like your vlogging style and appreciate your commentary. It did not take you long to get acclimated to the Indian motorbike riders style of riding. Passing on a curve, driving against traffic, passing on the left, crossing a double white line to pass, driving in the wrong lane, ..... At least you recognize that your fellow riders may not be the safest in the world. LOL
Speaking from personal experience, the Versys 650 is a great bike for local and highway pavement. It surprises me, too, to see not many riders perform safe group riding techniques. The lead bike's speed should be whatever speed keeps the group intact. Just sayin'.
Mr. Solitude I have a 2018 Versys 650 aswell and I ride in Vietnam. It is reliable and very comfortable. I can‘t believe that backpackers risk not only their motorcycle trip but ultimately their lives to save a few hundred dollars for a rusty old cheap Honda Win copy. I heard a tip for riding in a group- to let the slowest riders first for the first half of the motorcycle trip.
thank you once again, I owned a Versys for ten years and I miss that bike, it is such a capable machine, you were only doing half its revs but then it wasn't your bike, but it really wakes up in the top half of the revs
Great video series. Oh I do have a suggestion for a funny video when you get back home. Something like the 5 worst things you have bought thinking they would be great but wasn't. Thanks and have a great trip.
Good video, but considering the topic i though you'd say something about the bike as well. Maybe it's because i have hard time choosing from the latest Transalp and this model Versys. Greetings Pavlin
I already have a detailed video review of the model: th-cam.com/video/3WKDEtmD_-g/w-d-xo.html, also two of my friends talks about their bikes here: th-cam.com/video/qnt_h_5253U/w-d-xo.html
i have the GT version in black and cant wait to hit europe on it this year Germany,Switzerland and Italy with my tent and after watching part 1 and 2 i doubt i will have any issues considering the roads of India compared to most European roads :)
It was our pleasure to ride with you till Pune. You are true it's very difficult to keep with these boys on twisties. They love to lean their bikes & enjoy it much. As the road is very well known to us, the boys ride within their comfort zones. While I never try to keep with them on twisties & ride in my comfort zone. Awaiting your further videos of ride on Himalayan in Himalayan ranges very eagerly.
As always great companionship amongst fellow bikers. As always. Does anyone else mix without problem as we do? As long as there are 2 wheels all is good. Age race and sex don't matter. Happy travels
There is a feeling that the guys never went to an organized group. An aggressive style of driving. It is a pity that in Russia do not sell Royal Enfield Himalayan - I really like the look of this bike and like its archaic design. There's something about that!
Beautifull india my ancestors were from Garhshankar India rajput clan before 1947 N next time when u pakistan please dont use train as u missed half of pakistan between karachi and lahore
@@motorcycleadventures ohh, i missed this opportunity to meet you. Please do post for a sub meet if you plan to visit india again. Would like to join you on your journey in india.
I cant wait to see you driving the himalaya in offroad. Also all the guys you met are really awesome, I hope if they read it, Greats to you.
Thank you! I start riding the Himalayan from the next episode.

Hi Pavlin, the area and the roads there are very beautiful. But the best are your friends, they are so great! Many regards to them!!! Ride safe, Hans
Agree, the people are the best part of any trip!

In my opinion the Himalayan is definitely the best bike to explore India.
pune the home of osho an interesting guru.built a small town in america.in the end was kicked out,
Good to know.
Would like to see you , if you are in Maharashtra state
So sad to see what humans do with our planet... thanks for the upload
Well...welcome to India!
Brilliant !!
Thank you!
Whats your opinion on the Versys for Pakistan? or would you still go with the Benalli again?
Versys is better bike, but don't forget that it is almost 230kg. This will be a problem in a serious traffic or during filtering.
Hey Hi, are u planning any meet in Pune? Would like to meet you. How long will you be in Pune.
Maybe next time, he is back in Germany already, the trip was more then two months ago.
Exactly, not I am uploading the detailed series.
is this bike powerfull enough to ride with 2 persons on it??
Not really.
Pavlins chilling!
Wow!
Beautifull india my ancestors were from Garhshankar India rajput clan before 1947

So far in India was much more regulated and easy.
