Thank you Kelly for such a fantastic idea! I picked up 4 sets yesterday, I bought all of them at my Walmart for under $20 and that’s going to make 8 gifts that I will be giving this Christmas. I hope they get more in, I saw someone else say that they were going to put a picture on it and so that’s what I did and it turned out beautifully! Such a beautiful gift for 8 people for very little money! Thank you for all your ideas and dedication to bringing us these budget friendly ideas for those of us that are on a limited income!

Thank you for this idea! I work in the Walmart Craft department and I have customers that ask me all the time how to use those. The best idea I could come up with before this was using burlap in the center and using wooden letters on it and hot gluing flowers on. You have certainly inspired me.

This would be perfect for our house! Our front porch has an old tin roof and a boardwalk made with 4x4's. The interior is fully trimmed out with old timbers and boards. Everything came from the previous owner's two mines, and he was quite a craftsman! Thanks for bringing these panels to my attention.

Hi Kelly, I actually did this one before I saw this video. I was amazed when I found these galvanized sheets at Wal-Mart and how inexpensive they were! I did not however distress them but I'm gonna do it now! Thank you for sharing, I wouldn't have thought of that myself. I have a gorgeous sunflower bag that I've been hanging on to so I can do it again and this time I will definItely distress it. Love your channel. Keep them coming!!!💖

Kelly, we are doing a first time ever tree lighting ceremony at our church (outside) and I wanted to decorate the fence around where the tree will be. I may use this technique to decorate the long fence of the schoolyard. Thank you so much for showing us this perfect find. You can do so much with these galvanized sheets. Simple but elegant and dirt cheap. Love it.
Wal-Mart galvanized pieces are everywhere from trays, platters, and sheets you showed. You inspired me use some old gift bags tucked away. But now will have new life with my DIY lighthouse decor, thanks for sharing.

Dacia's D.I.Y's does your manager know that different Walmart’s have different prices sometimes? Might clue him in. I shop 3 different Walmarts. I have worked retail my entire 50+ years. Stores cater to the clients they have. We have 2 major department stores (same company) one sells a product for $79.00. Across town where the upper class live, that same product is $139.00. Walmart knows what areas will pay what. The one retail I referred to is not a Walmart.
Agreed. Also, not every item will be available in your area. Home depot is starting to sell wood and metal pieces in smaller sizes. With wood, you get 2 free cuts. I use fencing boards for signs all the time and they do the cutting for me!

Love this. 2 suggestions, I would rough the edges before gluing down and second I would use a dark grey ink pad or remove some of the black to lighten the border. These are really cute and an easy gift.😊

Hi Kelly...I LOVE this idea. I bought the bag with the big barn but I couldn't bear to cut it down. You got a steal on the galvanized 2 pack. Here the 2 pack is over $10 at Walmart. But they had a single galvanized sign that was larger than the truck bag you bought. It was only $5.38. I'm happy now I can hang my barns. Thanks for sending me to Walmart.😄

I've experienced people just being lazy or not even knowing what they have in stock. I'd look at the website and maybe call a few different Walmarts.
