- After the Kickstarter campain ends, backers will be voting for two of these characters to join the core romance group, ensuring they get a more detailed story and more interactions. Here are their bios, a few additional rumors, tidbits and one curious theory (not mine).

I need the actual in-game story, voice, mannerism etc. to really make a decision, but Atticus and Stev have definitely piqued my interest.
If I'm not mistaken, during a conversation with Heidi, Trudy, Hugo, Cooper and the builder, Heidi makes a statement about not being too surprised if some of those prisoners do not make it back to Duvos. I took it to imply defectors looking for political asylum - which would fit for Stev. Guess we'll have to wait and see. Thanks for the video Leaf!
my headcannon is that our Sandrock builder spoke to Avery about Stev and somehow convinced him to help Stev defect xD

I really love that they brought Stev back.
Hmm... I'm an older player, so I am glad we have an older potential love interest! (It certainly doesn't hurt that he's easy on the eyes!) I'm also curious about Stev's story. I agree, there is something very likable in his portrait.
I will be interested to see if character personalization includes the option to make our Governor a bit older, as well!
I was really hoping we were going to get the option to keep Stev in Sandrock. He was great.
Ines and Waylen for me, I think. I like Barika's design a lot, but "Despondent Engineer" doesn't sound very fun....but more Musa does sound fun...grr, so much choice with so little info.
Just please, Waylen. Don't be "THAT" character in this game. I really liked Aadit and Matilda.

They are romanceable already. The voting is to expand their romance lines. It sounds like they are like Venti right now but the winners will expand to Fang or Logan type romance I believe.
I'm looking forward to Atticus 😍 Stev is very cute, but I'm more attracted to the older characters (must come with age). I married Owen in my first playthrough of Sandrock and Logan in my second playthrough.
I appreciate this video, it's a nice in depth view of their back stories. I will vote for Shin for the men (like you, I prefer long haired men), and for the women, Barika. I am kind of disappointed Atticus doesn't have a female counterpart to vote for- a clearly mature looking woman. It would be nice to romance a woman who has clearly experienced life a little, like Atticus or Owen of MTAS clearly have. I romanced Owen in my EA play through of MTAS, though of course Fang is my fave.

I can't decide between Stev, Atticus or Waylen. I also like Ines because I like the war zone has had an impact on her. Nooo, I want Aadit to show up in this game! My builder needs to know!
Nice video again! From the boys, my big fav is Stev, followed by Waylen and Daddicus, the girls are easier, Barika or Ines. I really like both of their design.

Voting for the guys is going to be so hard Sandrock was honestly easy Fang was a simple choice but here arrticus, Kang, Shin, Stev. Though for the girls I really like Hua guess that will be easier.
Yes, Rudy looks exactly like a younger version of Fang's father 🤨, but he definitely isn’t as attractive as Fang. Since Rudy appears in the main artwork for the game, he might end up having a bigger role than we originally thought 😦
Saddly I was really expecting the guy next to Ursula in the main artwork to be Aadit, so now I’m kind of disappointed 😭. To be honest, he resembles Aadit much more than this redesign of Ursula matches her original look.
Madeline looks a lot like grace ngl. Honestly I love the new ART style but I'm going to be legit, I don't think the characters look as unique/interesting to me. Their outfits designs just look very basic and comparison but it's probably bc it's harder work in the new style. What is the word...a lot of them look very *normal* for the type of funky genre it is. Like more normal, and then you got a super out there design like...Shin. He doesn't even look remotely from the same world or even wearing an alternate fashion. And I prefer alternate fashion, and I like that he looks more unique and normal, but the top half of his design looks great...just not paired with those pants and vice versa. Waylen also has that very normal look, but the weird hair flowers looks like a bad attempt to make him look somewhat unique, but it looks...out of place. In a not so good way.
Hua looks like a bit of an interesting design but the clothes seem kind of..everywhere. it's weird bc i design characters but it seems like some of the color and concept choices aren't that great or match well. Like her outfit doesn't seem to...go together. Like just looking at the boots, belt, skirt, socks, those alone look like none of them would work together. The outfits feel basic of very out of place. Just some odd choices of clothes that don't go good together, and trust me, IRL i wear very alternative fashion but it all matches and looks good together. Even barika that kind of hair color is not flattering and her outfit with those tights and boots just look so off.
I'm a huge fan of the series, this is just feedback bc I like the new art style but the older character designs were way better. (I did not like pablos design though.) But if you look at the cast of characters all the character from sandrock just kinda looked better hair and outfit wise. Just some odd choices there. But loving the new art style. Just curious about design choices.

If you back the Kickstarter and get a tier with Alpha access, early 2025 is what they are saying. If you wait until maybe early access (if they have it)... sounds like May 2026.
The alpha access key is only for steam/pc - but it will automatically become the game key when released... so no downtime.
