This was so good Sir Bechoy…. I love the Alocasias but they always die on me , so I’ve been very hesitant to buy another one. Here in Texas , the soil that they come in is always a coco peat mixture . I didn’t know that they like loam soil . I’m going to try your simple soil mix for sure now👍🏻👍🏻 And that species you had , the Tigrina, what a Beauty! I’ve never seen that here.
I just bought my first amazonian elephant ear. It’s really in bad shape po. The store gave me 90% discount. Pero it just needed water and to be repotted. I also collected a lot of bulbs out of it. I hope it will survive. 🤞🙏🏻❤️

Plant Titos seem to only like plants. What about Flowers. They are plants too. But Flower gardens are so different. How can people resist flowers. I guess you need to choose between plants or flowers? If we can only choose between plants or flowers what would people choose. Maybe plant titos dont like flowers.
Love the plants but your script is very redundant. You mentioned the loam soi and where to find it, where it is available 4x, the manure 2x too much. Write your script, edit and make it more efficient. Otherwise, your audience hears the same thing over and over

I have alocasias, and yung soil mix na nawowork for me - 80% ricehull and 20% loam soil. Super effective
Same for us but we always used 100% decompose rice hull it kinda like soil na din.
Ganyan din mixture ko kasi hilaw pa yung ipa mas madaling bumaba yung tubig
Alocasia potting mix of sir bechoy:
Loam soil-70%
Vermicast-20%
Pumice-10%

I have been growing alocasias for 5 years and the medium i use are combi of loam soil (60%) and carbonized rice hull (40%).
Hi if use normal soil can? I’ve kill 3 sanderiana 😭
