Everyone talking of how bad Miguel Berchelt looked, that’s taking away from the awesome job Nakathila did. He pressed the action, taking the fight to Berchelt. And he didn’t just throw one punch, it was always combinations. This was the perfect way to fight aggressive and hard hitter like Berchelt.
I mean lets be honest berchelt would get hit with a rain drop in a sun storm but let's not take away from nakathila performance but think how good Shakur is bc he completely nullified nakathila and was countering him crazy just shows the levels from good fighters ,elite fighters,then the Greats
This fight would have been different had Nakathila not stood up to Berchelt and tried to run. He felt the power.
You can only fight what's in front of you. Nakathila looked really professional and good game plan. Well deserved win.
That's what I hate about fights like this. Berchelt was clearly not there but it's not fair to take away the glory from Nak. He earned the shot for a reason and did what he had to do.

Miguel needs to call it a day, he’s had a great career but he’s gonna end up getting really hurt.
He is still 30 but he looks old in this fight, terribly flat footed from the start, thanks for his iron chin he lasted 6rounds. I hope his promoter will give him a year break and give him a lesser comeback opponent to gauge if he still has something left..

Funny how more time was spent talking about how bad Miguel was in the ring and how they were worried about how he might be affected by his last loss. Nakathila was picking his target to pieces. Good call by the Ref and Ringside Doc to stop it b4 more damage was done. Sadly Miguel's poor footwork was a pointer to a far more serious issue of early brain damage.
The greatest, Ali suffered that fate of not having his last 3 losses stopped. I would love to see Nakathila vs Teofimo Lopez.

Miguel Berchelt is a certified to level fighter,,Nakathila just proved that he belongs there as well... He showed it already against stevenson but because it was his first time fight in the USA ,he was a little overwhelmed and cam up short,, he was solid... He is showing that he is improving alot,,
That fight w Stevenson put me on notice that Nakathila was legit. Nakathila is a top level boxer. Stephenson showed that there are levels even at the top.

En el boxeo, hay niveles. El nivel de Berchelt nunca ha sido, no lo es hoy y nunca lo será de primer nivel. Tampoco tiene que retirarse. El todavía tiene cuerda para seguir en el boxeo pero en su nivel. Tenemos tremenda cantidad de boxeadores que ganan y pierden, pero eso no quiere decir que ya deberían de retirarse. Siempre hay alguien que le puede tortera las babas a cualquiera.

It’s that disappointing that no one noticed Miguel is suffering from extreme muscle spasm, you can see very clearly that the muscle around his spine is distorted, the muscles from the sole of this right leg down to his waist and his back are all stiffed up, He shouldn’t fight until he finds a remedy to it
I've zero medical knowledge but the guy's movements and zero defence seems very awkward. U may be correct. Something is fishy with his health honestly.

Expected Miguel to get starched sadly, that punch resistance is no longer there, a stiff jab sat him down but straight rights and left hooks that seemed to be loaded up with reasonable power didn't seem to do true damage but I would say that's purely down to the heart and toughness of Miguel.

Vi la pelea y les voy a dar mi humilde opinion, Berchelt no iba mal preparado, no equivocaron el plan de pelea porque tiene buenos entrenadores, su equipo es de los buenos, no de los mejores, porque le escogieron a un peleador desconocido y se la partio en gajos al pobre Berchelt, le hubieran escogido a un bulto para que su regreso hubiera sido triunfal, no fue error del peleador fue de sus manejadores, he dicho, les mando saludos y un abrazo desde Sonora.
Su entrenador más que ayudar estorba no para de hablar que pesado , no le da tiempo a centrarse en lo que pasa por frente a él .
