Ace Wilder strikes me as the bright-eyed, cocky anime protagonist you see until the gang of major antagonists comes along and turn him into a bloody stain on cement. Can't say that I like him.
You know, funnily enough, back when I played this game when it was in a humble bundle, I thought the whole time while playing it "This is a game the best friends should play, its so fucking hype", and look at that, they finally played it. I must be some sort of wizard. This game gets fucking hard by the way. I got stuck on some bosses for hours. Due to the mechanics, the harder it gets, the more hype it gets. Literally dodging through machine gun fire and riding missiles because the only solid ground is on moving planes if I recall correctly, and that's just one mid-game boss fight.

In a game of over the top action and woolie bait defense mechanics...woolie succeeds at none of it, and is defeated by stage one pupper. I've never even seen this game before and can tell you there's dodge counter attacks.

There was a Dragon Ball Z game in this style. There was Dragon Ball Z Supersonic Warriors for the GBA and Supersonic Warriors 2 for the DS. They were super fun.
