Brittany, I have been lucky enough to buy a couple of your pieces in the past and I just wanted to say that as a mummy of three it has given me the chance to own pieces that I would never otherwise be able to buy! Thank you so much for making me feel amazing in my little corner of the world! Syma :)
Is this the same house that Brittany was doing up the garden and painting the kitchen wall green that I watched last year? I follow but didn't remember that she has moved? The kitchen looks very different too. Do you know? Thank you!
First of all, loved the mid-week upload! Secondly: Brittany, I have to say, I loved experiencing your energy in this vlog! You seemed to be having so much fun during the musical montage when de-cluttering, and at the end spinning in the chair. Infectious! Obviously there are always ups and downs in life, and I appreciate you always sharing both sides. Sending you lots of love and hope you have a good rest of your week!
Please know, no matter how dull you think you are Britt or how boring you think your content is - we love you. I really enjoy seeing normal everyday content. My life has been repetitive week in week out for over a year now (as I’m sure it has been for others) and still continues to be, so I find a lot of solace in watching you. Thank you, always ❤️
Loved the chat about the Zara dress and how it's so important to repair and love a garment no matter how much you paid for it! I remember working at Urban Outfitters and someone tried to return some jeans that were a year old because the zip broke.. I was so baffled that people don't expect normal wear and tear!!
Omg at 13:04 you made me laugh out loud, that made my day :D Loved the montage, loved your video as per usual. Thanks for always working on surprising us and staying creative, I'm so happy for you that you got the studio space.
Lizzie (Hadfield) and you both uploaded a 31min vlog almost within the same hour! Making it not an easy decision which one to watch first 😙 but excited for both! ✨
One of my favorite videos ever! Love love love you assessing your wardrobe and explaining why you'll keep or re-home things. Also here for the PMS content. We are all living it.
*Would I repair this item when there is a hole in it* is a great question to ask yourself before buying an item (: Love your little rant about 'cheap' clothes and how we value them 🖤
i really love your approach to this type of video. i've watched a lot of decluttering videos and they all start to feel the same. this was a fresh approach.
Loved everything in the vlog, esp the part about the Zara dress. The boots are Daryl K (I have them too, also my first "expensive" boots), she had a really cool flagship on Bond St in NYC in the late 90's and early 2000s and made cool leather leggings for downtown girls. A great part of fashion history. I break mine out 2-3x a year and still love them!
I so love that your eyes light up when you talk about your studio space. It's so nice to be around other people again. Also, impressed with the wardrobe purge. Dats alotta Depop!
Loved it when you said, i have this dress for two years what is not long for a dress! I wish everyone would have that approach to clothing because that’s the mindset our planet needs! Also love how you talked about taking care of you’re clothes and it doesn’t matter if there expensive or not. Because again so so so true! Thanks for that ❤️. Love Esmeralda
Best mid week surprise! So cool you speak about money-value of the clothes; it is so true! Many of my second hand clothes are so much more precious than the brand New ones.. and also warms my heart to have the same black dress, also from depop, also loving it so much as you do ❤️ And now I also am now extra motivated to use my upcoming rainy weekend for a decluttering (incl. little dance in the middle 💃🏻💃🏻) Wishing you a great Day! 💖
Your face when you have your leather shirt on ... I laughed heartily. :) That was probably the best declutter video I've ever seen. Really. And with the bathroom, I would definitely be there too. I hope the google translator did everything right. Warm greetings from Germany. :)
Thanks for the two vlog week : ) Good job getting all the pictures taken for depop. I always find that so exchausting. And you even steamed them. Wow! I think your level of untidyness is fine. But if you like to keep things more organised I think you could help yourself with a couple more/ better suited adaptions in your closet. Some you already mentioned yourself. Like a few more shelfs insted of many things stacked on one shelf. I used to have my shoes stacked like that. It was a nighmare to find any shoes and now I store them in a modified billy (Ikea) book shelf. I added doors and lots of extra shelfs. Now all my shoes are nicely organised and I love it. It makes it so much easier to put them back now because each pair has its place. I wish I had a better solution for my bags though... ahaha - Having lots of things can be a lot of work. Phew
Wait, what day is it? What a pleasant surprise!! ☺️ I am always happy with a rainy day, so I can just stay inside and do things around the house without feeling obliged to go out and "enjoy the day". And yes, "Just in case" is a clever way to hold on to things--but lo and behold, when I do get rid of it, I end up regretting it that day when I do need it, lol!
same! while i was in a pile of mess haha I think a good tip is think about the things you use and actually pick up day to day in a week, then imagine all the things that don't get touched or only to dust/clean around- get rid of those lol
I would love a proper wardrobe like that, you look so much happier going to your studio. You are inspiring me to make a change and mid vlog I stopped it and cleaned out 2 drawers and a basket! It’s a start...
Hi Brittany ! Love ur vlogs! And I read snow flower and the secret fan ...so beautiful. Thank you for ur recommendation. Looking fwd to the Sunday vlog! Have a great week !
Gosh Brittany, I loved that musical montage. I was smiling all the way through it! Love this video and has inspired me to clear out my wardrobe too in time for summer (when we finally get nice weather!). I'm like you, I kind of wear blues whites and black's and creams only !
Ok this might be a super weird thing to say, but I am always mesmerized at how gracious and elegant your hands gesture is . (The photographer in me speaking )
Think you bring up a really good point with the Zara dress! So important as we all know many fast fashion brands are not going anywhere any time soon and for a lot of people it is the ideal price range, so I feel one of the best options is to promote rewearing and repairing so people can love their clothes for as long as possible! It was actually yourself and my friend that got me thinking of how much a tailor can do (thinking of all the clothes in the past that could have been saved with a tailor!)
Hi Brittany, this video really was a pick me up :-) I wanted to mention a couple charities I found recently and really like the ethos of: The My Body Back Project, End Youth Homelessness, and Conscious Edinburgh. Either way, any charity would be okay and you should be proud of your spring cleaning spree!
Awesome! Thank you so much for this. Watching the vlog back I thought ‘jeez I sound really lazy not looking for charities myself’ so I really appreciate this. I’ve sent some of the proceeds from recent sales to local charities so it’s nice to spread it further afield 😊 p.s thank you for watching! ❤️

I dearly love all your content, but I was really relieved to see that outward minimalilsm doesn't always mean minimal possessions (because I would fail at that). Could you do a vlog on how you found your style both homewares and clothing, what's a splurge vs save (like the Muji socks) and what are your must-haves (favorite candles, I notice you usually have fresh flowers, go-to bath products, etc). I'm going to echo what everyone has said - I love seeing you feel energized. I'm sorry you had anxiety but was glad you wrote about it because many of us are feeling the same way. Honestly, I could watch you paint walls for a full hour and listen to you talk. I've even got my husband watching you - and he doesn't really "do" TH-cam!
