I personally feel like it’s not so much the content of your vlogs that make it very calming, for me it’s much more the aesthetics and the style of them (very real and unpolished, nice music,.. Even you chatting all the time is very comforting in a way, haha!)
So I really wouldn’t mind you keep vlogging, although your life might be changing a bit I’m pretty sure I’ll still enjoy them just as much :-)
Please dont stop vlogging. Whatever the form they will take, it is you and your vibes that make them what they are. Not covid or lockdown. Your vlogs are the absolute best!

Your vlog is always one of the things I look for most every week so please don't stop vlogging! It is not only the calmness of your vlogs, but you as a person and your aesthetic and lifestyle which makes me come back every week. I find it hard to discover interesting content on youtube these days and you are my absolute favorite. I'm sure one reason why the calmness of your vlogs has been appealing to many, is that we all live this same kind of quiet life right now and you have the skill to make everyday life look so beautiful. But as your everyday will start shifting back towards the more normal, so will ours and at least I will be just as happy to follow you then!

Please keep vlogging (in any shape or form). There's no other type of online content I'm looking forward every week as much as them, I literally catch myself counting down days until monday. They are incredibly calming, I love your style and aesthetic, your attention to detail and also the way you keep your videos realistic and relatable (as opossed to the typical YT fake positivity).
Appreciate how you are trying to meet your audience. And it is true, I did meet you during quarantine. I think because I found you late spring/early summer when the sun was out, today's vlog with its warmer temperatures brought a kind of flashback to that time when I found you last year. I started sewing around nine months ago as I plan to build my own perfect wardrobe within the next years and honestly you are my main inspo. There’s just no way I am not literally loving every single outfit I see on you. And that’s it I guess. 💕
Did you buy a sewing machine and if so, did you opt for a simple "beginners" model? I'm keen to resume sewing and am out of practice.
@@MS-ys1rp I started last June with a definitely low quality hand-me-down, just to see if I liked sewing at all. A couple months ago I started looking into a better quality sewing machine. I was looking for a decent one - nothing too fancy - as I just wanted it to do its job and last for a good amount of time, but I ended up buying something slightly more expensive and higher quality as I found that with just a teeny tiny additional effort you can access much better quality machines. So my suggestion is: if you are ok with what you have and you can make it work, great. But if you are on the market for a better one, I can tell you mine (Smarter by Pfaff 260c) is A TREAT ✨ it really made sewing a pleasure.

I think a lot of people can relate to you and what you said last week about the anxiety of coming out of lockdown. I’ve worked from home or been furloughed the last year and with a new job next month I’m back into a work environment. Would say keep vlogging, for purely selfish reasons cos we enjoy them! But I think you’ve made a great space here.
Please keep vlogging! Your editing style and focus on the magical in the mundane will bee a through line to whatever you're doing in your weeks. As things begin to open back up, they will continue to be a wonderful refuge from the stresses of daily life.
I am feeling a bit like when a lover says they need to take it easy and slow things down for a while...not a true break up, but enough to make me feel worried, lol! I am fairly new to your channel and just love your vlogs. I have been trying to pinpoint what it is about you--at the risk of sounding creepy now, hehe--I just find you down-to-earth and genuine and relatable. Also, I understand that you moving to your current home was tied to a real break up but to me personally this is when your vlogs became truly you and the style I vibe with. Also, loved that part with the weather. I live in Sweden and we had around 12 degrees outside during the Easter holiday and everyone went full on spring mode and today (Monday) we had a snowstorm 🙈

Appreciate that it's absolutely none of our business, but I'm curious to hear how things are with Dean? You mentioned when you moved the two of you were assessing some stuff in your relationship and I really hope that things have worked out as they need to and that you are both in a better place. Would just be interetsed in how you found the process, if you are still working through things or have arrived at a new point in your relationship? I see he pops up from time to time so nice to know your still friends too. Feel free to ignore me completely as it is totally your business and yours alone, but I know some might find it helpful hearing stories of relationships that differ from what we are fed to believe are healthy/aspirational.
It's really nice isn't it? I've remained friends after a breakup, in particular after my last relationship where we were together for 5+ years. It's not always possible, but long term relationships in particular will often fizzle out rather than end with animosity. It's lovely to work through it, find that peace with someone, and have them remain in your life.

I recently got a 6 pack of the muji 0.5 gel pens and honestly seeing someone else as happy/in love with those pens made me feel great. They are the best.
I have wraps that I wear instead of a jacket and that has served me well. When I pop into a thrift store I use my wrap for the breakables I collect! I found a vintage vase that sells for $150.00 on eBay so you never know how things unfold!!
Just a note: you can get refills for those Muji pens now, so instead of buying the entire pen (more plastic) you can just replace the ink!

Muji UK need to sell the packs of 10 ink gel refills that you can get for the gel pens like they do in Japan. It would be comparatively environmentally friendly and a bit cheaper if they could provide that option here. I only ever write with Muji 0.5 gel pens and have done so for about 8 years lol.

anddd thennnn the sun came out and i had to put my blind down as there wasn't a cloud in the sky! haha. i really enjoyed this vlog and thought you had some interesting new combo's i think the past year you're outfits have become detailed still in a minimal way but though more/new shapes, colours and texture. I think continuing to vlog and take it week by week would be good because the people like you and myself who have been really following the rules n not meeting anyone outside our bubble it would be a nice transition to see you start to do things
i honestly felt overwhelmed by the sheet (*sheer but sheet is also a good description :P lol) amount of people acting like the pandemic ended so it would feel nice to watch someone whos been in the same mindset as myself navigating life reopening. I think that why many, including me, have turned to you and your vlogs for solace and comfort during the past year has not been solely because of the content of your videos, but because you yourself create that comfort and radiate a calming aura, which won't be affected by the restrictions being lifted and I reckon I speak for many when I say that we are excited to get a peak at what a 'normal' pre-pandemic day for you in Norwich looks like! but regardless of that, always put your mental wellbeing first and if vlogging no longer feels fulfilling, but creates more anxiety and stress, stick to your guts and focus on other things

Please keep the vlogs coming! Thinking back to your pre pandemic vlogs, they were just as calming and interesting, so any form they take after lockdown will be equally as good.

Brittany, I loved this vlog! I was thinking of ordering a few things from Muji but was worried about how long the delivery would take. How long did your pens take to come?
Thank you ❤️ Delivery really varies with Muji. Sometimes it's quite quick and then other times it can take a while. In this case the pens took two weeks! 😳
You could try to soak the jeans in fabric softener. Sometimes that relaxes the fibers of clothing and they stretch a bit again. After soaking it will help if you pull them into shape. Maybe it works?! 🤷🏽♀️🤞🏻. Kind regards esmeralda

second of all: not sure if you need another pen recommendation, but here it is! After loving the muji pens and getting a ton of refills for them on my last trip to Japan (2017 :( so long ago), on my trip I also bought the "Uni SXN-150-38 Jetstream Ballpoint Pen 0.38" (unfortunately unavailable on amazon uk at the moment, so it seems), it's even finer than the muji ones (0.38) and my handwriting has never been better ;) (I also get refills for this pen)

But please don't feel pressured. I mean obviously none of your subscribers would say: yes Brit, please stop vlogging. I just want to articulate my interest as a subscriber/ follower. It's not really about the content to me. It's about the feel your videos give. It's about seeing someones piece of creativity which is so fun and at the same time calming and aesthetically pleasing to watch.
Hey Brittany, just wanted to say that I have always look forward and enjoy watching your vlogs and when I stepped back to identify what is it that I enjoyed about it, it came down to the aesthetic value and style that you bring to your outfits, home, vlog and your life. It is the minimalist, classic, androgynous and authentic you and I think that’s what draws people to watching you. I recognise in a creativity line like yours, you would need time to recharge and renew to invoke creativity. So take that time that you require (I’m sure we will be rewatching old clips in the meantime 😊) but don’t stop this fabulous job that you are doing. Please do keep vlogging! I agree on how calming your videos can be, but I think I had more to do with who you are and how you capture and edit scenes, and not so much the circumstances. I think it would be totally fine to just go with the flow with the vlogs. I’d watch them no doubt 🤍
