I loved her warm sensuous voice when I first heard this song on the radio, when I saw what she looked like, that clinched it. I've been a fan ever since. I saw her perform in 1978 and talked to her, got her autograph, took photos of etc.
This was a favorite song for one of the racehorses I groomed in '77 and'78. It would be playing on radio after his training sessions. Think it helped him relax ... Have always loved this song and everything else Crystal Gale sang. Beautiful, beautiful ...!!!
This is better than the studio version - very soulful and beautifully done. And I guess the turning of her eye color was permanent as her eyes are blue now. :)

Crystal is only 27 in this video. Currently Britney is 42, but I agree, by the time Britney hits 73 Crystal still has her beat! Saw her several years ago in concert at a casino in Laughlin, Nevada. It was a small venue and I was close to the stage. She had one of her sisters singing backup and she was interacting with the audience with comments and questions. Her voice hasn't changed! It was a great concert.
