Documentary about Haile Selassie I and his mission to transform Ethiopia from a feudal society into a modern society with Equal Rights and Justice, Education, And Proper Healthcare for all. The greatest obstacles in this struggle he found within the feudal hierarchy and the Ethiopian Orthodox Church. Though Haile Selassie I was the the head of the Church, landreform was sabotaged by this institute and even by his own founded Parliament. Haile Selassie I was way beyond his time and the ancient mentality of traditional society. Yet he remained faithful to the church and never forced anyone into progress. His strategy was moral persuasion.
