This is genius! I love your personality, your style, the way you show things by example while you’re talking about it, everything. Great job and thank you for sharing with the world!
When the fun money in my budget gets refilled this book will be high on the list. Alas, for now, the mortgage sings her siren tune... Keep up the great work Kyle!!!
Looks like fun! It also fits perfectly to the July - month of independent RPGs (as proposed by Professor DM / DungeonCraft). You should try to connect those two things into another vid ;)
Thanks for recommending this. It reminds me of the old adage that stealing from one source makes you a plagiarist, but stealing from many sources makes you original. I'm commissioning some work for a bestiary in a Dying Earth setting and am on the fence whether to ask for a sketchy vibe or something more concrete. Both approaches are really interesting; with sketchy illustration, it leaves a lot of the interpretation up to the viewer's imagination (something about ttrpgs that I really enjoy), while fully fleshed out illustration can give a lot of personality and visual definition to things.
I didn’t even know this world existed. How can I get plugged in? I love browsing home brew but these physical books are gorgeous and I’m sure incredibly fun to read
Recent subscriber here! Been watching a ton of your videos and I'd love to see more building better monsters vids! Maybe building better humanoid bandits. They're a staple in both fantasy and sci-fi and I feel like they get left behind after a few levels of a campaign
Well, the way that most level progression works, bandits really don’t fit the theme of powerful heroes with phenomenal abilities taking on increasing threats. As far as making them interesting, you just need to tie what they are stealing to both a significant aspect of the setting and a significant aspect of what the players care about in the game.
@@mapcrow Well thank you kindly for the recommendation but I meant like "Do I have enough information describing this character?" or "How much info do I need here? " "where do I put the statblocks in the back?" and those anxieties
This is such a neat way to make a game! Excellent work as always Map Crow!
Thank you so much for the kind words!!
I've never felt so attacked by an opening statement. I feel so seen.
Haha! Clearly in the same boat myself!!
Great idea. With almost every book you stacked up, I thought 'Oh, also got that and never used it.' ;-)
Haha! Glad I’m not the only one!!
I clicked for the TTRPG system and I stayed for the book review. Amazing stuff as always.
Heck yeah!! I like sharing my work, but I also really like sharing the work that inspires me! Cheers!!
Excellent, remarkable, need more of this
Thank you!! After working on this, Kenny and I were getting a lot of ideas for other ttrpg tools we wanted to make next!
I love this so much. Bought the Agnostic Old Roads bundle, super hype!
Oh gosh!! Thank you so much, my friend!!
I love that Hellboy is in your summoning circle! That said all your stacks look awesome 😊

Waiting for mine to arrive :)
The pdf is excellent so far.
Thanks for the great work!
I love this technique to kickstart the creative juices and mash up some wild ideas. Thanks for the share
This is such a cool idea. I love it. I'm going to have to pick up yet another book to collect.
I’m getting this, seems like an amazing adapter tool for hacking systems to grab and apply the stuff I love most about each!
Heck yeah!! And it’s pretty flexible too! If you want to look for a word or idea or use the whole page, it’s up to you!

Keep up the great work Kyle!!!

This is awesome 👌
I'm so happy to see Headlopper ❤
The high water mark for fantasy comics in my silly opinion! Cheers!
Hope you reopen your store soon. Would love to pick up your book.
Me too! We are working on it! Cheers!
I love it!!!
Woops, the title card said Treasure instead of Trivia
Ah shoot. Too bad TH-cam makes it impossible to edit something after it’s posted! Sheesh.
Instantly purchased the second I saw the book was made by you. Still waiting on your own ttrpg to be released so I can buy it…
Thank you! Yeah, we are talking about some game ideas, but those take a lot more testing and tinkering.
I just ordered your bundle; last week it was Flik Silverpen’s Guide to Making Maps…subscribing to your channel could be expensive. 🤣
Haha! Oh know!! My zine buying habit is contagious!!
@@mapcrow Eh, that’s OK. At least they don’t take up much space. Keep recommending things!
Another banger!!
Thank you so much!!
I love it
Heck yeah!! Thank you!!
Too many zines must buy more zines to escape! I do love the idea.
It’s the only way!! Haha!!
Interesting application of PAwFTT
Haha! Yes! It’s catching on!!

A witch, from Yoko Ono book. Oh, its an idea alright.

Hail to the King 👑
Hey I would like to preorder the bundle but I'm moving soon! Any way that could be accomidated? I would hate to missout
It’s not limited time. We plan to keep the bundle in stock for the foreseeable future.
@@mapcrowawesome to hear! Looks great excited to get my hands on it
What is the dragon book at 2min?
I go through most of them at the end of the video over the credits and I have links in the description.
💸
😂🙏
Great idea but I need more help formatting the idea and less forming the idea.
You might appreciate the newest video then! Cheers!
