  • This border is very very simple in making and looks gorgeous on so many projects like Baby blankets, Frocks, skirts, frill making, bedsheets and many more ... The size of the triangles can be increased by increasing no. Of rows n hence no. of stitches in each motif.. And since it's all based on knit stitch only, it looks alike from both the sides..
    The most important* thing is these borders can be used both for knitted n crocheted projects.. so friends start making new project right now.. 😍😍😍😍😍

      notes:
      -iIve changed the pattern a tiny bit: if you purl the last sticth in each row, if makes the border a bit neater.
      -I'd recommend putting a stitch marker next to your YO. the first time i did this pattern, i messed up and did the YOs in the wrong rows.
      K=knit
      YO=yarn over
      SPW=slip purlwise
      BO=bind off
      CO6
      R1: K5 P1
      R2: SPW1 K4 YO P1
      R3: SPW1 knit to penultimate stitch P1
      R4: SPW1 K4 YO K1 P1
      R5: SPW1 knit to penultimate stitch P1
      R6: SPW1 K4 YO K2 P1
      R7: SPW1 knit to penultimate stitch P1
      R8: SPWI K4 YO K3 P1
      R9: SPW1 knit to penultimate stitch P1
      R10: SPW1 K4 YO K4 P1
      ...
      keep going until you have 15 stitches.
      S1 K4 YO K9 P1
      BO10 K6
      If you want to increase or decrease the height of portion under the eyelets, adjust the # of knits in the first portion of the pattern -- that is, what is now consistently K4. If you want to adjust the height of the triangle, change how many stitches you have after the YO. Note that if you adjust these in such a way that they don't add up to the same # of stitches in the original pattern, you'll have to adjust how many stitches you cast on accordingly. If you want to adjust the width of the pattern, just change the number of sticthes you keep going until. Please lmk if anything is unclear or if you spot a mistake!
