I can relate to this. I was 5'0 - 5'1 skinny/weak and nonathletic my freshman year and graduated at 5'10 and very athletic. Now at 21 i'm pushing 6'1. Even my parents thought i was gonna be short.

When i was 16 i grew from 5'6 to 6'1 in about 5 months. Now 19 and almost 6'4 barefoot with a 6'9 wingspan :D. I am the tallest guard in my univ league( not from us obv lol)

My dad is 5'10 and mom is 5'5. My grandfathers were 6'2 and 6'1 that is probably it. You can also probably guess about your growth from other things like how much facial hair you can grow, hair on your upper body etc. My beard was non- existent until last year. Still can't grow a proper one.

Some people have genetics catch up, I was 5"8 at the end of 8th grade, now 5"11 at 19 years old lol. But I've seen so many of these type of stories from people I knew from middle school and I think it's awesome, instead of underestimating someone because they height, see the potential ya know.

@The one and only If u can't play basketball, Swimming, Badminton, Skipping or even football could be a great option, Basically exercises that requires you to stretch ur legs and lots of jumping, Also Nutrition such as Protein, Calcium, Zinc, But again, It comes back to genetics cause those are only tips to "Maximize" ur growth potential, Keep ur heads up and Have that grindset mentality

I remembered my growth spurt. I went from 4'8" in fourth grade (age 10) to 5'3" in sixth grade (age 12). Sadly, I haven't grown a lot since then. I've been at my height of 5'6" since age 15. And I not even sure if I grew another half inch or full inch! It's pretty odd how my older brother Andrew is 5'10" despite mom being at 5'0" and dad being at 5'5" (Note: I reached my mom's height at age 11 and my dad's height about three years after that). I should be at a max height of 6 feet instead of being in the 5'6"-5'7" range right now.

damn this reminds me of a friend from my school who was around 5'1 when I was 5'7 in freshman year. Around the end of the year he just went hard into basketball, everyday I would see him train then pandemic happened and I saw him until Senior year. I was still 5'7 but now he was around 6'3. I was lazy during those years, ate like shit, slept like garbage... Im 5'10 now though but yeah you can grow a lot if you put your body through the intensity.
