Thank you! It's been an awesome little track, some more changing is coming in the future! This thing has blown me away with the drivability of this little crawler!!
Excited. Have one on the way too. Bummer about the servo. My TRX4-M is now in the Injora Tarantula frame. The original shocks and maybe now the servo are going in this one. Also have the TRX trailer. The Austar may become a trail rig. Done a lot of research. Others have said take the foams out of the tires. Maybe some brass in the front wheels. Have a few ideas up my sleeve. If they work I'll share. You said you replaced the diff covers. Did the TRX4-M ones work?
I'm pretty psyched about this rc. It's a shame about the servo. The reverse issue is because it only has forward/brake/reverse. That's a bit of a miss, but I can live with it. Thanks for the video, I subbed. Keep crawling!
My reverse wheel speed is very limited compared to forward. Even at max setting, the reverse speed is horrible, at low it barely moves backwards. Plus you have to brake first, then reverse, so bad for a crawler. Why can't it be changed?! I can't stand it. Are you experiencing the same? I have not heard you mention it and could not see reverse speed in this video.
Mine is the same. If you look close at the controller, I believe it to be a factory issue with the controller, when you use the reverse it contacts the tip of the trigger, ill be doing a video on how to "adjust" it to work like it should.
I do not believe that is the problem. It is programmed in the ESC and appears it is not able to be changed. Even if we could just get rid of (F/B/R) and set it to (F/R) that could possibly make it tolerable I do not know what Austar Hobby/Injora was thinking with this ESC configuration and the 3 speed mode is worthless as there is nearly NO reverse speed in Level 1. I hope I am wrong and there is actually a way to change it.
Awesome terrain for crawling. Just ordered one up and I have some spare TRX4M shocks for it, For the price of this is a steal of a deal.

Awesome, thank you!!
What parts did you put on there for upgrades? I would like to order some of the same for mine
i have my whole build in the video description
Great video!!! Have one on order hope I don’t have the same issue lol .did you do anything with the turning radius?
Just added the servo from rampcrab
Bro there are 2 little plastic studs underneath the servo that don't let it turn as much clip them off and you can get the same 45°as the traxas
