Sweet video! Do you think the injora shock mounts for the trx4m would mount to the Ax frame?

I've had one for over a year. Fantastic right out of the box. With a few tweaks it's amazing. Love to see others spreading the word. Can't say enough about it.

i got my jeep and its badazz, i have a 3d printer and i printed a body for it but im missing the upgrades u got is the upgrade plug and go ur its hard?

Does this use the high trail links and such?

Will trx4m ring and pinion gear work on these?

Ever since i bought metal wheels and better tires i keep breaking the driveshaft and having to rerigg it back together.do u know if trxm metal drive shafts will work on these? If not do u know what will. I can't find upgrades parts for this thing

What size tires are and wheels you put on it

yo those gears are for the rear only for the most part and then get the overdrive gears for the front and you have a good set up to pull you over obstacles instead of the rear pushing you so you flip less.

What brass diff cover is that? Mine should be here next week

I try to install the injora brass diff cover on my ax-8560 but when I tight the 4 screw the diff become hard to turn, I finally reinstall the plastic diff cover.

Yeah, having fun with mine. Put stock trx shocks on it. Used some trx satin bead locks so I could add wheel weights to the front. Also removed the hard foam and kept the original tires. Actually does quite well. Did you fix the steering? There are two posts on either side of the servo horn. It limits how far it steers and probably why people are burning up their servo. Can't set end points. Snip them off with a side cutter. Way better steering.

Need a spare rear diff for mine thinking a trx4m 1/18

My reverse wheel speed is very limited compared to forward. Even at max setting, the reverse speed is horrible, at low it barely moves backwards. Plus you have to brake first, then reverse, so bad for a crawler. Why can't it be changed?! I can't stand it. Are you experiencing the same? I have not heard you mention it and could not see reverse speed in this video.

Got mine yesterday. I really like it but the lack of crawler reverse and the super slow reverse speed is a bummer. Given the great modulation of it, that is a shame that we will have to change electronics to get crawler reverse and a proper reverse speed. I'll check out your other vids.

Are the shocks you used 59mm in total or hole to hole? I think standard are 53mm? Just wondering what size to order.

Will trx4m injora parts like brass c hubs and brass steering knuckles fit ?

I got mine in yesterday. Immediately installed some trx4m shocks, swapped the springs over and threw on some new wheels and tires. Im really impressed with it so far! Definately worth every penny. Those crystals are awesome! nice Score for the crawler area.

These are a true Banggood speshul/special. Also picked up a set of hopup Austarhobby alloy split rims via eBay which are great too, adds weight, but rear wheels didn't want to come off, weirdly, so have only fitted to the front axle so far, reused OE tyres with foams for now. Great little rig & huge value. Servo okay, no issues even like the TX. 🔝

Just curious, but does the Defender body fit onto the Austra chassis? If so, then that would be a decent replacement over the traxxas brand...one would just need to buy the body to add onto the Austra. Since you have both, had to ask. Are the wheelbase the same?
