    Thanks, can't wait til they bring you in full-time to balance out the Cubase PR Team. Greg Ondo with Cubase Tips, Dom Sigalas with new features, and now you with specialized Production Basics. Let's go Cubasers!!!!!

    Great content Stevie - here's hoping Steinberg encourage you to repeat this kind of series with further genre-specific examples.... I'm sure lots of folks will find this useful.... 🙂

    Solid stuff Stevie B. I appreciate it your simple and direct approach. I find myself getting caught up in the minutiae right away; hunting for the right sounds, over-editing, and not having a clear arrangement or structure to build on. Kudos to Steinberg for bringing you on. Keep em coming.

    So inspiring, Stevie, thank you. Massive problems downloading Lofi Piano but we can get round that. I'm gonna have a go at recreating your song tomorrow. I've been using Cubase since 1990 on an Atari but I have learned from you some new techniques which I can now apply on my new Cubase 12. Fun fun fun!

    How do you quantize audio? I saw it but I missed it. Time stamp 8:50

    • @skape21
      @skape21 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Quantize audio is similar to MIDI. With the audio event selected, select the grid option (1/8, 1/16, etc...), swing (if any), and hit the "Q" button (or "q" on the keyboard).

      Make sure your audio interface is connected. You can check it in the section called Studio on top of your Cubase screen.
