My Norinco Type 54 had the trigger safety. Real easy to replace, very grateful to get one with that safety style. The trigger safety version is... usable, but very uncomfortable
Just ordered the Yugo M57 from Classic and also ordered the original trigger to replace the one it comes with. Did you get your trigger installed and how is it?
Chris I’ve put the Yugo trigger in and it feels just as good as the one I modified. And they both feel so much better than the safety trigger! I hope you enjoy it!
Since you are getting a yugo trigger to replace the polish one, couldn't you use the dremel and remove material from the entire travel length of the trigger bow so that it does not contact the magazine disconnect lever? Seems like that would be one way to bypass the magazine disconnect without permanently altering/damaging the frame.
Rowrin I’m sure that would work. Even though I’m not a fan of mag disconnect safety’s I want to keep it on this one. It’s the only Tokarev that has a mag safety. To me that adds to its uniqueness.
Hey man. I realized you had an m18/46 helmet. Mine is a bit strange. I think that mine was a repainted combat version. As it has two vent holes like the black combat helmet has- but it's painted yellow like the Civil Defense helmet with the rivets all the way around. It also has a liner different from yours in the video. Makes me feel mine is a little bit unique :D Can I show you? Maybe we can call it another variant of it?
Sterling silver Lizard it’s very possible they have different versions of this helmet. To be honest I don’t know very much about them. Does yours feel like it’s made of aluminum? Mine is much lighter than the combat version. It’s possible it might be a combat helmet repainted or you have something unique. Very cool!
Is it possible to remove the safety off the trigger? Knock out the that pin and pull it out? And do you think the yugo mag will fit in chinese tokarevs in 7.62x25?
the Führer I would imagine you could pull out the safety from the trigger. But that will leave you with a hallow trigger surface and won’t be too comfortable. The Yugo mag should work just fine in a Chinese Tok. It’ll just stick out a bit.

Hey I have a Croatian m57 and it's been broke down after 2 rounds and I need help I fire it and the trigger caves back and won't fire the next round and the trigger isn't on the trigger spring anymore
mopar rocks I would imagine that it wasn’t seated on the spring properly in the first place. If the trigger bars look bent at all maybe try swapping it out with a replacement trigger.

Will a M57 trigger fit in a standard Tokarev? I squired a Type 54 with a trigger safety but cannot find a regular replacement.

why wouldn't you just get rid of the magazine safety?
shimy333 no other reason then to keep it all original for historical purposes since it’s surplus.
