This Vanden Plas is remarkable with options that otherwise are only seen in quarter million dollar cars such as Rolls Royce or Bentley.
It is a very clean vehicle and in mint condition.
The Sapphire Blue is in excellent condition. Please note the clear headlights, which means that this vehicle was garaged, as they usually get yellowish tint from sun exposure.
The interior Ivory trim is in excellent condition showing better than average wear condition.
It is a very luxurious and comfortable vehicle. Front and rear legroom are in a class of its own in this Jaguar. Attention to details include Wood trays for the passengers in the rear, Ruched soft grain leather seats, wood/leather steering wheel, Wooden gearshift knob, oatmeal headlining, inlaid burl walnut veneers, and lambswool rugs Front/Rear.
Vanden Plas is distinguished by higher quality leather and wood trim.
Options included are front and rear climate control, Harman/Kardon premium sound system, sunroof, security system, touring suspension.
It drives like a dream. The Vanden Plas edition suspension gives you the right balance of comfort and handling capability. I drove this Jaguar for the last 2 days and it is a pleasure. It feels like you got the king of the road status. It is very luxurious, comfortable and quiet. The engine is powerful and responsive. Unlike other vehicles in inventory, my kids fight to see who actually gets to sit in the back.
This vehicle passed inspection and found to be in excellent mechanical condition. The transmission was recently overhauled so this Jaguar is good to go for many more years.
All power and electrical systems work great including power seats, power mirrors, power sunroof.
Air condition blows freezing cold.
Only thing found was that the airbag lights switches on and off. The light is off most of the time (at least when I drove the car) but still it comes on once in awhile.
It's a non-smoker vehicle.
Tires are in good condition. Michelin front and rear 225/60 R16

Yes, X350’s are fantastic, it’s still a proper jag with wood and leather and all the Jaguar stuff, and yet it’s built modern enough to be light and get good fuel economy, even the Diesel engine one is fast. I know because I’ve got one.

Maybe not the most reliable, but old Jags were classy and simply beautiful. New ones are very advanced and well made, but they lost elegant style. They look like muscled up Hyundai or Mazda.
I am getting a 1998 Jaguar XJ8 Vanden Plas just like this one. Same color too. It is also a one owner car. I am thrilled. It has been off the road for a while, but it has no issues. Starts and runs great. This has to be one of the smoothest JAGS out there. It is soon to be a classic car. And will make a great antique car which is my goal.

Vanden Plas was used as a Brand name in the US , because Daimler couldn't be used for Legal reasons.

That's a rebadged Daimler why you americans get so confused is beyond me. We cant call it a daimler because apparently Americans will get confused and think it a Mercedes Benz. For goodness sake Daimler motors have been around such a long time
