Thank you so much bro this honestly was the only thing that helped to get my car to start now I’m taking it straight to the shop before this happens again😅
It had something to do with it being a leak in the gasket manifold. The car’s computer kept putting it into some kind of limp mode to protect the engine from further use and damage. It really could be a number of things though with these cars. Costed a small fortune to fix. $1,100. Maybe my mechanic ripped me off, idk. But I’m glad it’s fixed and taken care of. Hope that helped a bit.
What causes no start and no power to dashboard on vw jetta? Before this issue, abs lights, engine oil pressure and steering lock colom lights were on along with check engine.
While watching this all I did was open the door after slamming it because I had the problem. Opened the door and boom. The fans kicked on and the car unlocked

Mines doing the same .. you figure it out? Everything was working fine I went to start the car and nothing just got immobilizer active message . Tried what this video said and still nothing . Was able to get my key out .
Yes. I have the same symptoms. It killed (to 0v) a perfectly good battery (charged out of the car and then tested with a loadTester, put it back in...dead overnight!) It locks the steering wheel. It locks the gearshift in "park". The ignition key is locked in place and cannot be removed. The doors cannot be locked. It cannot be started....AND! Someone actually got paid to design this POS Toe-Rag.
@@REYMediaa Thanks but no use. Battery is dead!! Battery now has 0 VOLTS!!! I jumped it to my truck (under hood terminals) and it dropped my truck revs by 100+ rpm!!!! too. This POS is a dangerous liability. VW want to replace the battery! I told them it was a perfectly fine Battery. Imobiliser >$500 VW $180 /hrs. It is a POS. It won't move.

@@Dodger2879 try pressing the shift button rapidly till you hear a click to remove the key . Hook up jumper cables to it if it's completely dead
