@@letslearn-vg6pl I have been bodybuilding before Phil Heath. I don’t disrespect them at all on a personal level. It is true that they are very hard working and it is extremely difficult to get to that level. But the standard they have created had taken bodybuilding away from its definition, bodybuilding is both an art and sport. These new bodybuilders can’t even pose! They have simply no concept of it. They have no shape, no proportion, no symmetry, no flow, nothing matches nothing! look at Arnold, The clean outline of the physique. There is simply no comparison. @@blob4345 The concept of GYM is from cold countries. As one cannot warm up in heavy clothes and below 0 degrees. So they introduced gyms. But in India, it is cold only in some places. Moreover, an open environment means more fresh air. And higher the oxygen the better the regeneration of cells and prolonged workout. We had and even now we do have traditional places to exercise but they are not called GYM but called AKHADA. But more people are going to the gym these days.

I think that despite the advancement of technology and steroids in the sport of bodybuilding, Arnold, the owner of the greatest body, will remain so that every time I watch him and enjoy coordinating his muscles, he is truly a legend.

Maybe but I cannot honor anyone who takes steroids, synthol, hgh or any other chemical, They all are fake men with fake bodies. Insane to ask advice from them because they grow muscle if they even fart

Love the old and new era but I feel that Phil and Kai brought us the bubble gut to the stage, no matter how big Ronnie and Jay were, they always had an almost flag abs structure even when not flexed but from Phil and Kai bodybuilding started declining unfortunately because people relied entirely on how much mass they can gain and completely ignoring the general aesthethics of the body.

Phil didn't always have a Bubble gut. It developed around his 4th Olympia title

It’s not so much the bubble gut. I think it’s their style of training or something, they just don’t look like champions compared to proper champs. There’s just no where near the same conditioning and it really takes away from the physiques.
