Used a machine laying around when I first started with opals, that had exactly these issues, so I got a small battery-tool instead. May be able to save the old one now after your video, sweet, thanks!
Great video for al of us. My Ozito was a return to shop. They had not seated the flex drive properly. I got it for 25 dollars! 12 volt, though. A traveller. Now have bigger one and a mains powered one! All are excellent tools. My trusty Ozito everything! 18 volt stuff mostly. Never have let me down.
I’ve never considered needing to do maintenance on my Dremel. Good to know. I would likely have just tossed it and gotten a new one. Great video.
It'll probably double the tools lifespan minimum if you just keep an eye on the lubrication.
Can't really beat that $5 a year hell of a good run id say
It was cheap at the time but once averaged out over the years and considering some of the stones I have cut... Worth every dollar.
You may get a whole new audience with that thumbnail 😂
Haha you should see some of my attempts at AI generated thumbnails for this... dont know what I typed but... it wasnt good.
Cheers for this video. I really needed to see this as many other people would have too.
Hopefully it saves you from a breakdown. Get those tools lasting year longer for the ultra value.

Possibly. Hopefully you can resurrect it. The battery ones can be a bit underpowered and I like a lot of hours of carving especially on the weekend.

I'm going full Ryobi 18V range when I can. They have everything including a flex shaft that I want to try out.
@@RoysRocks Mine's an 18 volt Oz!
Thanks heaps this is brilliant and I’ll be doing this on my ozito and ryobi 😊
Nice get a few more years of life out of them by looking after them even if just once a year.
👍 good advices! Thanks!
Hope it helps people out.
@@RoysRocksit does!!
Good advice.
Hopefully it saves a few peoples flex shafts from heading to landfill.
handy 2x👍
Hope it helps! 👍
First to give you the Thumbs 👍 up.
Early bird gets the worm... Or gold nuggets in your case
Remember never to bend your shaft too much
Naughty! 😂
Haha there were so many opportunities for jokes in this one. I even trimmed some out during editing to keep it serious.
good info mate , will you be selling the dermal that you going to retire ?
Nah poor thing might be on the brink and a brand new one is $55 down the street with 3-year warrantee.
@@RoysRocks ok thanks
