Great video. Glad to see someone actually enjoying a wheel instead of constantly complaining about them. I love my EX 30. I live down here in Florida. It’s flat and straight and that’s where the X 30 thrives.

Fantastic wheel. It's tempting to pick up a Master at a good deal and try to swap out the suspension, but this is making it a hard decision. Maybe wait until there's a good deal on one of these. I usually buy 2nd hand. It's beneficial to let the wheels prove themselves before jumping on them. It's my little insurance.

I love my EX30. I swapped out the tire for a Michelin. Then I installed the full Grizzla kit. I was just going to do plates and pads but after seeing the quality of the kit, it was a wrap lol Then I threw on a coil shock and E-rides pedals. All I got to say is I am not going to need another wheel for a while lol. The EX30 is a beast and while I was taking it apart, I was thinking Begode is leaving money on the table if they don’t make swappable motors and batteries for this platform. It really is modular. It would be so official if when they come out with a better motor we can just swap it in and the same with battery packs. This wheel is already balanced just right.

but lowering the pedal height and center of gravity does seem to make a lot of people happy.

with all the new wheels that stay coming out, i have no desire to upgrade anymore.
on the other hand, when i see videos like these, i DO want to upgrade badly haha.
    so!
currently i have a commander, and have actually been able to hit 59.1 mph/101% pwm (per darknessbot, unadjusted, but set for commander).....i was wondering if u were in my position, if size WAS an issue (obv upgrade for me would be a commander pro...but that does come with a slightly bigger form factor - something u address early in the video), sacrificing nothing else, and taking reliability/mtce into account (as in air vs hydraulic suspension), which wheel would you go to if coming from a commander? i have never tried a suspension wheel and i dont know, the added weight of the suspension components just mentally dont compute to me. is it really such a game changer? like im okay to just keep my knees slightly bent at all times lol
thx for the vid, just sharing some thoughts.

I haven't even touched the commander pro but to answer your question coming from the commander, I'd go with a smaller wheel with similar performance if you're replacing it. If you're keeping the commander, then a smaller wheel with similar performance. IMO

Portability, are you kidding? Top heavy is about different riding technique, maybe takes a little more getting used to and even relearning certain aspects. I really have a hard time understanding this obsession with crazy, heavy wheels, maybe we're trying too many wheels and not allowing the proper adaptation with time and experience. For example the Master allows much more brutal acceleration being top heavy and in my opinion, when you can control it, its weight makes the wheel much more agile and aggressive. Only fanboys believe every new single wheel they test is better that the former one. The performance and fun factor of these wheels is obvious in fast urban/traffic environment, not on a highway at 90kmh, it's about reaching these speeds safely, not maintaining them indefinitely. These 50kg eucs are for heavier riders to feel safe, but in my opinion a 70kg rider on a Master, like once the RS/MSX, with good technique, can outperform heavier even more powerful wheels everywhere besides distance. Kuji is a good example.

  • @mig6220
    @mig6220 11 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

I just wish you could've felt the real, unleashed MasPro for a legit comparison.
The stock linkage geometry is wrong- it keeps the shock from moving correctly. With aftermarket links- i use 100 lbs less air pressure than you(I'm 260lbs!), and no bottoming out.
With the all metal battery boxes AND spacers, you get a more rigid structure.
In the meantime, the guy who makes and sells the corrected linkage (Hou Ningning)is making LOWER pedal hangers!
It's gonna be next level in terms of handling!

@@VECTOR_Coasters I think the power difference is not that much different. If you want a street specific wheel EX30 most likely. Better all around wheel def the CP. Top speed difference is only 5mph, 55 for CP and maybe 60mph for the EX30. Not many people will hit the 60mph mark. All around ride and handling def the CP. Nobody is racing the EX30 offroad, if they are...they aren't making the podium. CP ridden by Zach Darnell got second place in the Seek n Shred event and almost won if wasn't for him crash in literally the last 15 feet. Heat is not an issue at all for any of these wheels. Cp out the box is ready to go, superior suspension and handling. Dawn Champion bought the EX30, likes the CP better. ( she's fast) Jennifer Crusher, Bought the EX30 and now own a CP and loves it more. If you just like to go fast and straight EX30, but everything else I think belongs to CP. Not only do you have to pay more for EX30, you need to pay for the mods such as links, shocks and of course bumper systems. I had my heart on buying an EX30, but the CP seems to have everything I want. Better suspension, better handling and less modifications. If you weigh over 200 pounds def go with the EX30. But for a lot of people, that extra 5mph ain't worth it. It's slightly more torquey and slightly faster. Take a look at Ronin's review even though it's an old one.

And while some recommended newbies start with the smaller no suspension wheels hearing the complaints from those who did concerning the heavier suspension wheels I'm kinda glad I have no experience with the earlier smaller nonsuspension wheels; no experience = no comparison = no complaints.

I think a personal transportation plateflorm was what the Creators where
originally aiming for, add in waterproofing (it's electric after
all 🤷🏻‍♂️) suspension, range, total battery capacity (fuel) with a redundant BMS system
    and it has come a
long long way on an evolutionary
scale in a shorttime frame. Einstiens observations- a plateform moving threw time from point A. to point B. does in fact shorten time which adds to your productivity.

Ex 30 has higher torque and all around funner then the Sherman s. I love the Sherman s but the ex30 to me is a game changer

I love this and Sherman s but dawn champion cut this wheel out with her lightweight self I understand her biker background but you don't use your weight to control motorcycle speed and motorcycles don't cutout. And corgi drools beat master pro with Sherman s

Agreed. I disagree strongly with the motorcycle comparison compared to eucs. No correlation IMO

How is 101lb portable? 🤔 Is 500kg portable just because they could deadlift it?
