I tried this product on the rock surface where I store my trash cans. Didn’t hold up to the abuse of the cans rolling around on it. Went to another product, Gator Rock - liquid binding agent. Works awesome. It’s a little more expensive, but works really well. If you ever need to reapply, give it a try. Keep up the great work, really enjoy your vids. 👍🏻
I used this product, and initially, it looked great and had a hard finish. I kept my dogs off of it for two days, but by the fourth day of them walking on it, it started to crack. The pea gravel underneath doesn’t seem to have the product on it, so it’s loose, and I think the movement might be causing the cracking. Is there a specific thickness the product should be applied to? Did I use too much pea gravel? Should I spray the pea gravel underneath first, then add more pea gravel on top and spray again? I plan to use this area for my grill and other equipment, which will be moved around regularly, so I don't want it to crack again. Can you recommend a better solution or a different product for this purpose? Sept 10 , 2024
Thanks for answering so many questions! One final question I had was how well you thought this product might hold up on patios using pea gravel with medium foot traffic?
Good question! I think if you pack the stone well with a tamper then it'd hold pretty good. May not last quite a year with foot traffic. It also has a tacky feel to it after you initially spray it but over time it gets better. Hope this helps.
Hi, do you think a squirrel could dig through to the soil? Im considering doing a glued pea gravel top dressing for my potted plants that the squirrels have been relentlessly digging up.
Have you tried this on the larger rocks next to the pebbles? My entire drive way is lined on the sides with the larger rocks and they always end up in my driveway. I'm looking for a way to secure them. (They don't move because of the cars driving on them, they move when it rains or the dogs run around on them)
We have the larger stones (like those showing on the right in your video). Do you think your product would work on those as well? I have tenants w two kids and find the stones everywhere they shouldn’t be. This concerns me for stumbles and falls that could result as well as potential injuries if caught by a mower blade. Hoping the glue will provide a small amount of resistance when the kids try to pick them up TIA for any guidance
I suppose you could. May want to reach out to PetraTools. It is 'non-hazardous', but I'd double check with them in regards to your specific application.
Yes, should work great. If it’s a big dog it may knock some stones loose if they were real aggressive on it, but I expect it would hold up pretty good.

Thanks for sharing!! 👍
Does this product make the pebbles look wet? I would like the wet look not the dry dusty look.
thank you for this video!! You pretty much covered all of the areas of concerns/uncertainties for me. Loved the video
@sotexlawn
How did it hold up?
I used and like this stuff for my mulch, but I definitely need to re apply every year.
Awesome! 👍
Thank you for the follow up! I watched your first video on this and wondered about the durability. I’ll will definitely look into buying this.
I was impressed at how well it is holding up especially with all the rain we got this past winter. 👍
Same 😂
Thank you so much! This is a nice review that answered my questions.
Glad it helped! 👍☀️
Awesome. Thanks for the update
👍
Thank you so much for posting , 😎🇺🇸😎
You’re welcome!! 😎👍🇺🇸
i definitely should have used this down by my fire pit area!
It works great! Keep the rocks from being kicked in the yard.

It’s recommended to let the mulch glue cure for 72 hours.. Give this product a try:

Great video Sunny 🌞 😎
☀️👍
Thanks Sunny!😊
👍😎
Great vid Sunny! I need to get me some of dat!!
Yeah, man! Stuff worked great to keep it clean around my AC units.
I didn't see what brand you used. I will look back on the original review...I think.
It was the PetraTools Mulch Glue, link should be in description or on web site.
Very Impressive
Yep, lasted quite a while and still holding

Hi, do you think a squirrel could dig through to the soil? Im considering doing a glued pea gravel top dressing for my potted plants that the squirrels have been relentlessly digging up.
No, I believe a squirrel would give up trying to break through. It’s pretty solid. 👍
When you apply the mulch glue, does it make the pebbles look wet? I want the wet look not the dry and dusty look. Thx
Yes, it does give it a somewhat wet shine to it. I’d recommend spraying it down first to get any dust and dirt off. Let it dry and then mulch glue it.
Does it make it shiny or darken the pea gravel? Thanks!
If I recall correctly, it did give a bit of a shine and glossy look. Also a bit sticky.

Not yet, but I do have some glue that's dedicated to stones so be sure and keep an eye out for future videos.
Great video as always! Send me some of those pine tree saplings 😂
I have them everywhere!!

Yes, it will hold, but I feel a strong kid could pull them apart. Try the new Rock Glue. I plan to make a video on it coming up soon. amzn.to/4fgZdoG
@ Thanks Sunny
Checking into it now. 👍😊
Hi Sunny, would this hold river rock? Thanks so much for the great video!!!
Never tried it but I oversprayed my pebble on the large rocks and it did hold on a few it hit.
How does it hold up to freeze and thaw conditions?
I'm in Alabama so we don't have a lot of freeze conditions. We did have a few nights of freezes and it seemed to hold up fine.
About how many square feet is covered per gallon? And how did you apply it (I.e., tank sprayer)?
Around 250 sq ft, I used a manual pump sprayer but battery would work too.
I have seen reviews when it rains it turns white until it dries? Any feedback? Thanks
No, this doesn’t turn white at all. Water passes right through it.
Great! What Brand did you used?
PetraTools Mulch Glue - link in video description
How deep is your pea gravel? Im curious if my pea gravel would be too deep for it to work on my patio.
It’s around 1-2” deep. If it’s deep then the glue will bond the top layer.
Can it be sprayed on the soil?
I suppose you could. May want to reach out to PetraTools. It is 'non-hazardous', but I'd double check with them in regards to your specific application.
Can you drive on top of it for driveways?
No, I don't believe it's designed for that kind of weight. May want to contact Petratools and double-check.
Would this work as a patio area with table and chairs?
Possibly, I’d contact PetraTools and ask to make sure.
Do you still have termite issues
No, they don’t stand a chance. 😀
Can dogs run on it?
Yes, should work great. If it’s a big dog it may knock some stones loose if they were real aggressive on it, but I expect it would hold up pretty good.
❤❤❤❤❤
👍😎
Thanks
👍😎
The glue is a waste of money. Never want to buy it again.
Going on 2 years and still holding strong. Did it not hold for you?
Donald Trump said that He was going to stop taxation as we know it and give us a flat tax on new items. . .

Don't believe a word that comes out of his tiny mouth
