Ive done both mine and the Mrs car with this stuff. Did the same as you, got the cars in the air, wheels off. Arch liners out, then went to town. The 4L bottle was enough to do both cars, and i even went a bit heavy on my own car. Wearing a mask is a MUST, and eye protection. Yes you have to leave for at least 1 full day so it sets and goes off. And if you get any on the exhaust it stinks for weeks !. They say to apply yearly, but i cant really see the need for that often.

If we could accept that we have winter road conditions and drove accordingly and avoided having salt on our roads, motorists would avoid all this rust, it is a big problem for society in general

Just got a question on this. I've an E46 and every so often you're supposed to remove the grommets in the rear arches and pump Waxoyl in there. I've had the arches done about 3 years ago but haven't done this yet. Waxoyl is messy as you need to heat it up etc... Could Lanoguard be used for this ?

I've just done Lanoguard protecting my Civic FN2 TypeR and really pleased with the results. It was so easy so next i'll be doing my X5. I did a video on my channel too. Great stuff.

The amount of surface rust and the quality of rust protection is absolutely unacceptable.
Can't imagine how this car will look after 7-10 years.

It’s a cheep cheinnse car. Why bother. That is not a lot rust. No more than you would find on any car. Do you intend on keeping this car for more than 10 years. How long is the manufacture body work warranty

Agreed, my 12 year old Renault doesn't have a spot of rust other than on the suspension arms. On this the underbody is already rusting at the seams, I dread to think what it will be like at 12 years old. I was actually considering an MG as my next car but this has totally put me off.

Pretty sure mot testers are funny about smearing components in grease or something like.

They will say something like they cannot test due to being coated or something like that.
