I used TH-cam Shorts to blow my second channel up. Took me 5 months to reach 100k subscribers. I just got my checkmark and the silver play button is on its way to my house. I posted 4 shorts per week the first 3 months and then went to 2 per week. Now, I'm planning on adding in some long form content to boost the income (I have also used a lot of Famester all the time. That tool was a proper game-changer for me). My first month being monetized I made over 2k. Keep at it!

@@Dammiescorneryou have to be careful. Getting a lot of subscribers who are not there for your content will harm you in the long run. Unless you plan to sustainably continue that content, it’s best to stay within your niche. You may notice that the videos you actually have interest in making are not getting as many views. Thats because you attracted the wrong audience

@@tanq6746 - make amazing content that people love - never compromise on the quality of the content (with the resources you have, make the best of what you can, everyone has humble beginnings and you get the best tools and team later as you grow) - as of 2024, focus on specific niche only, the algorithm favors the ones who are focusing on a specific topic rather than many - don't compromise the titles, descriptions, and tags (the more data you feed to youtube, the more it will understand the context of your channel and it will show your video to the right audience |||| DON'T overoptimize) - when you have enough data on analytics, you will see that there are some keywords that gets you the most views, those top keywords are the weighted content of your channel, meaning; you have already built your base on those topics on youtube, if you publish other closely similar content on those topics/keywords, it should be easier to rank - A/B test with thumbnails (you have that feature on youtube now as "Test & Compare" feature in the thumbnails section) - studio > analytics > real time (on the right side) > last 48 hours ||| observe for a month or so to find out the time when your content are getting the most views, at what times are the spikes the most?
