I have driven a Workstar with the 15L engine backed by a 13 speed Eaton, truck was a monster. Four axle straight truck with a container roll off for trash, plenty of power an unlike any KW or Pete, it had a large comfortable cab, didn't need the seat pushed all the way back and that is a rarity being over six feet tall.
Jeff, that second bridge on the right is the old 2 lane bridge. It is not a railroad bridge. There hasn't been railroad traffic to the keys for nearly 100 years. The Henry Flagler railroad(now FEC) used to run to the keys but was heavily damaged by hurricanes and an automobile bridge replaced the railroad bridge. As a Florida native, I find the Florida portion of C2C inaccurate. The cliffs of Miami Beach are particularly disconcerting. Also, there is no Marathon Key. The city of Marathon runs from Duck Key in the North to Boot Key in the South.
The bridge portion was pretty close but the rest didn't feel like The Keys to me. I'm not trying to be negative but it just didn't capture it for me. I just did this drive last summer and it definitely looks like Cali more than the Keys. Anyway, not your fault Jeff, good video.
Most of the parallel bridges that you see were old rail road bridges, converted to carry cars. It was to narrow and old so they built the new over seas highway that you drive on now. The old bridges are now walk/bike paths and fishing piers. There are sections of one bridge that were blown up for boat traffic and to use in the movie True Lies.
Great vid Jeff the cat motor you have in the workstar almost sounds like the actual Maxxforce engine that is in the 7400 series of the workstar and in real life the engine brake on this truck is very quiet in real life great vid man love it
The light in the construction zone was basically like a flagger. The light is red for your lane and then when you go over to the oncoming lane its green for you and red for them...
you were close with your engine make/models. cummins x15 or navistar a26 were offered in the international hv which replaced the old workstars. i drive a 2019 intl hx series rolloff myself and its probably the most comfortable truck ive ever driven. ive driven the workstar and it is just not a long haul tractor.
Jeff, Is there really no street lights along the massive bridge? Is it closed at night? How would anyone see at night other than with the car headlights on?
Liam Hosking yeh there’s no street lights it would be pretty hard to run electricity along a 7 mile long bridge haha I guess if you have headlights your screwed

There is a couple of car haulers out there for ATS, one is free, one is paid, both are good, one is a edit of Vipers 389, and the other uses the SCS 389

You're thinking of "Target Fixation" where you look is where you're going to go, at least with motorcycles, I assume it's easier to correct with cars but I've never experienced TF with a car
@@Pepperyeen annotation might not be the correct word but still doesn't change how important body position is on bikes and the direction of your head has and adverse effect on your arms and legs sitting on a bike enough so to allow it to drift in said direction just slightly, then give a high stress situation that causes you to tense up magnifies that effect and that would be the target fixation part. Given it is all very very settle changes.

All my mods messed up with the new update. I went back to 1.36 and still lot of stuff is messed up. What do I do. Do I need to remove all the mods and replace them. You should look at the 1.37 Combined Engines Pack. It fixes the engine sounds. since SCS made them sound like diesel cars now.
You should drive a school bus again. It was nice to watch.

When I download the emergency mods with sirens the cars appear red and no sound but my other mods work fine.
Does anybody know how to fix steam FPS problems. Everything worked fine until steam got updated now I get 6fps. Any advice.

How did you remove the trailer perimeter and the pointer on top? Should that be present when picking up a cargo?
