There are many possible reasons why chickens stop laying eggs, and molting is an annual culprit! We raise backyard chickens, and most of our hens are going through a molting phase and are not laying eggs, so we’re amping up the protein in their diet. Also, I finally cracked the code on consistently baking delicious, homemade sandwich bread from scratch.
