Syncopation make my heart jump up and down, propably because of the tempo.🧡 This was a exclusive song from their 2nd Album (domnestic Version) and is blocked on Spotify etc. outside of Japan. Until last Wednesday when they released LMG Liveshow and its 2 Livealbums. Best part is that it contains 'Syncopation' and 'BxMxC' as liveversions which are also on Spotify.🦊🤘
Was in London last year and saw Babymetal in the Brixton theatre, they played this song for the first time outside Japan. When it started there was an audible wave of awe going through the audience. Like we collectively felt blessed being there. Moments like that are, to me, unforgettably linked to this great band and their beautiful fans.
Did you ever watch Callie Sakura's vlog of that show? You can hear the crowd start to lose it the moment they can clearly hear/see the heartbeat. I can only imagine what it was like to witness live!
Was there mad dash to get my phone out to record when intro started . Put it on my TH-cam page 122k views last time i checked . Blessed by the foxgod you right there .🤘🦊🤘
My favorite day has come, BABYMETAL DAY, you are right, we heard BABYMETAl because it makes us happy, I can't get enough of watching the hard work of these girls in each performance together with this animal band in this video it looks like lip sync because it is a compilation of videos with the original music, but in live shows SU does not use lip sync, i think the drummer's name is Hideki Aoyama
Su always sings live. This video took clips from two or three performances, but used the audio recording from a single performance, and so the lips were a little off. And if I am to judge, they used the sound from the Big Fox Festival. The drummer for most of what you have reacted to is Hideki Aoyama, and he is a beast. It's hgard top say the kids were exploited. They were in a group called Sakura Gakuin, which is a group under Amuse whose purpose is to bring along talent fpr adult careers, and isn't marketed agressively atr all. Babymetal grew out of that, and exploded on it's own. Moa and Su were meant to be on stage.
Talking about all walks of life. Lady Gaga had Babymetal is opener on part of her tour in 2014 by her own request, she is a fan. A terrible audio 'fancam' video online exists with Lady Gaga dancing in front of the stage with her own audience behind her. And Ariana Grande thinks they are cool. About the production, Babymetal & co have been getting better and better at recording and getting the audio sound great on the Blu-rays, when you check between releases, sometimes multiple per year, they made an other improvement in quality. It's amazing how they keep learning and improving. It's months after performing a big show that Blu-rays get released, so clearly they work hard on getting it right. When Babymetal releases MVs a lot of the time they take the live performance and slap the studio album on it. And use editing to align the visuals with the music. Babymetal, especially Su-metal sings live pretty much all of it. On older songs she has parts where she does not, it made total sense not to do it live. The albums have more effects on vocals, etc. And very few parts they choose to just use that live. Most of the time they just leave off the effect and let the girls perform it without. Lots of fans prefer the more raw version anyway. Like any band they do edit the Blu-rays to fix up some stuff. But you can be at the venue it would be really hard to know Fancams, bootleg audio makes it clear it's all live. When Babymetal got started Su was 12. In a bunch of industries you'd say if someone had been doing something for 10 years, he or she is a veteran in the industry. Well, at age 12 starting Babymetal, she almost had been in the entertainment industry for 10 years, she started at age 3 (!). But professionally training for singing came later at 6 or 7. She mostly did modeling, etc. before that.
Su is one of those peoples that really good at singing live , her raw vocal really make the song have more character and that's what make Babymetal vocals hard to duplicated , many have try and many never success.
Hideki Aoyama is one of the best drummers in the world and BOH is one of the best bassist in the world and oh yeah Takioshi Ohmura and Leda Cygnus are two of the best guitarist in the world today. and as far as the west Kami's are concerned they are super talented players who are more amazing than people know. I know you guys don't know "From Dusk Til Dawn" it's only been played once and that is a travesty because it is awesome and ironically it was in place of Syncopation on the US release of Metal Resistance.
I said it before and I will say it again For me this is the best BabyMetal song, period. The instrumentals, the choreography, the vocals - never fails to give me goosebumps. Thanks for your reaction, great work as always!
⚡ 💀 💕 / 🎶 💕 This is a compilation video, so not all of the vocals are going to match up. : ) After you get through the videos on the official channel, most of what you'll find has been ripped from blu-rays of their concerts. Su is singing live in those, except for some of her backing harmonies. Many of the videos on the official channel have the studio track over concert footage.
The version from this year's Legend Metal Galaxy was the best I've heard of this song. It was originally a Japanese version exclusive on Metal Resistance so a lot of people don't even know it exists. They're missing out BIG TIME. Now that the live LMG album is on Spotify though more are discovering BxMxC and Syncopation which are two of their best songs
Great reaction! Su always sing live, the drummer is probably a demigod and i went to Roppongi once, it's a wonderland that make you think you are not in this planet anymore. See you again! 🤘🦊🤘
Su-metal and most of metal singers usually don't lip sync live, i've never heard Su-metal doing lip sync, it just Yui and Moa sometimes using backing track to cover their parts
I saw BabyMetal in 2016 in Detroit. Yes there are backing tracks for piano and special effects but trust me I heard live music the whole night. Unreal how Top Teir they are live.
Seen BM live several times and if you guys ever get a chance to go see BABYMETAL, you will know Su is singing with her heart and its ALL LIVE BABY. 🤘🤘🤘 All hail The Fox God
Good reaction, but let's straighten some things up. Compilation videos, like this one, are fan made - they take clips from the Pro-shot videos (or sometimes from fan cam videos) from several different shows (I counted at least 3 in this one) and splice them together in the hope they can get something on TH-cam that avoids copyright. Generally they will put the audio from one of the shows they have used onto their video, I've seen some where the audio from more than one show is used and some where there is no telling where it came from. Many of the official music videos (especially recent ones) are filmed at live shows and have the studio audio laid on top - you can tell because they don't sound as good in the studio (especially Su - her vocals are compressed and over-produced in the studio). They have some backing track for some harmonies, additional vocals (like growls and screams) and additional instruments like synth, keyboards, piano, strings etc and sometimes for back up for Yui and Moa where they are doing particularly strenuous choreo (but they were singing live a lot more and from much earlier than most people, even avid fans, give them credit for). Apart from specific parts in specific songs (eg when they are 'asleep' in Doki Doki Morning, the 'para papa, para papa PPP too late' bits in Gimme Chocolate and when she is behind the mask in 'Megitsune' etc) Su always sings live and has done since their first big solo show, Legend I in October 2012, when they were first getting ready to separate from Sakura Gakuin. You can tell when Su is singing live and when it is the studio audio ... she sounds better live ... and yes her vocals are clear (and almost but not quite always perfect). So no more blaspheming and spreading false rumours of lip sync please, the haters used to accuse them of doing that because they had been watching American pop stars like Britney Spears and the like who can't sing and dance at the same time and thought BABYMETAL were the same. How many times have you been told who is in the Kami Band and for particular songs and performances which of the Kami Band musicians are playing? Come on lads. As for people complaining about your BABYMETAL Mondays - yes ignore them and do what makes you happy ...maybe one day they will get their ears syringed or something and come to realise what twats they have been for not giving them a chance themselves.
This is the first time I've ever seen you even remotely heated at a reaction video. I say heated, but I know it's more mild annoyance that doesn't translate completely in text. It does get tiresome to hear the same stuff, and I can only imagine it from yours, Rick's or Autohmae's, or any else's point of view as fans for as long as you all have been. Maybe people suggesting these need to let them know, "hey, this one is the studio track over the live performance" or something like that. It's a shame they wouldn't be able to get away with watching the Vimeo or Dailymotion stuff on here, that would give them a much better sense of things. Lastly, I totally agree and wish they could/would remember the names of the guys in the band, too.
@@mr.osclasses5054 Haha, I wasn't heated, not even mildly annoyed - very very mildly frustrated perhaps, but you can't get upset or angry with these lads, they're just having fun and enjoying the music which is what we all like to see.
@@Grington300 Wait, what? No no no no no. As a hardcore fan who responds to every post about your band of choice ON THE ENTIRE INTERNET within moments, you shouldn't just shrug off some minor misunderstanding like that! You need to get completely enraged. Biblically enraged! These guys should be cut into pieces and fed to rodents. Cities, maybe even continents should burn! Hmmm. Maybe I missed something about how the internet worked there. Let me check. No, that's definitely what should happen. I guess Babymetal fans just do things differently. 😉🐺🤘 But while I'm here on a thread with a complete expert on all things Babymetal, why _is_ this song called 'Syncopation'?
@@Varksterable Haha. Sorry to let you down on the outrage ... sadly I'm going to destroy my reputation for knowing stuff too, I really don't know enough about 'Syncopation' to know why it is called that, I'm always too busy listening and enjoying it to have really looked at the lyrics since early on and I forgot exactly what they are.
@@Grington300 Thanks for your response. And your other gazillion informative posts over the years. 😘 But this is a genuinely perplexing question for me. "Syncopation" has a specific musical meaning. (As does "Rondo" but let's not go there). But it simply doesn't fit this song as far as I can tell. I guess the only way to resolve this is to totally learn a new language, along with all its nuances and culture and then make references to the Who am kidding? It's just a kick-ass song. [Semi-perplexed-frown]
Compilation: Big Fox Festival (2017) - Yui's last show Tokyo Dome - Red Night (2016) And at least 2 other shows. Audio track: Tokyo Dome Red Night (2016) - Based on the first guitar break. I could be completely wrong. Questions: 1) Lipsynching: No. This is live audio over a compilation video. 2) The Kami Band for Tokyo Dome Red Night and for the Big Fox Festival was Hideki Aoyama (Drums), BOH (Bass), Mikio Fujioka (Guitars), and Takayoshi Ohmura (Guitars) 3) In October 2010, Su-metal was 12 years old. Moa & Yui were 11. Su solos: BABYMETAL: Akatsuki and Rondo of Nightmare Metal Resistance: Amore and No Rain, No Rainbow Now... Elevator Girl (OG JP studio audio over the Official Video) -> th-cam.com/video/CT4qy-sKTww/w-d-xo.html
Finally!! My favorite Babymetal song! Great reaction guys!! This is a compilation live video the audios here are from the Tokyo Dome 2016 show and the Big Fox festival 2017 you need to listen/watch the official video or DVD to have the all around experience... And Su was live but the edition of this video is not good at all.
Thank you! Babymetal makes you happy, you make me happy, in this hateful world these days we all need to take a little step back and just free our mind and enjoy the little bit of happiness anybody can bring :)
Yes, when there's several different concert videos stitched together for 1 song it's going to have a single overlay dub track lol I've been to two concerts and both had courageous live singing. Great song choice - Syncopation is my personal favorite!
Another great BABYMETAL reaction! There is minimal lip-sinc at BABYMETAL live shows, and then it's only occasionally from Yui and Moa, who understandably get out of breath with the intense choreography. You were praising the production company for the quality of this video: I must inform you that this is NOT an Official release.... it's actually a fan-made edit of several performances ripped from Official DVDs! BABYMETAL fans are getting these unofficial compilations down to a fine art! lol Anyway, keep up the good work with these reactions :)
Ahhhh... Syncopation. The song which making you motivated. This song is also feels like used in opening of action anime. Previously, this song can’t be downloaded in iTunes due to privilege available only in Japanese market. Now it is available guys! However the track is not recorded in studio but live concert.
Hey guys check out Sakura Gakuin it's an japanese idol school were SU-METAL, YUI-METAL , and MOA-METAL attended from ages 10 to 15. Its were BABYMETAL originated from, as they knew SU-METAL was in the MOA-METAL and YUI-METAL audition and was chosen for their twin like appearance and dance moves. And they are so cute.
this is their studio audio synced over some concert clips; you guys are 100% correct. this is the studio version on top of the concert video. And you're also correct, not all babymetal videos are studio audio. Their production company does this with a lot of songs which lack a music video, probably due to the viral hit Gimme Chocolate was, since that worked they just kept doing it. There are videos out there of live concerts which use the actual concert audio, it's worth it to dig those videos up. -that said the live version of this song sends shivers down your spine. Su is absolutely electric live. You can tell this is the album audio because Su's voice is always over-processed on their studio audio. I don't know why, the studio feels the need to processes her voice through auto-tune for the studio versions of their songs, but her live voice is so lovely you'll realize why people prefer the live version to the album version of almost all Babymetal songs. -as for live, they do use backup tracks for some aspects of their songs. almost always Yui and Moa's backup vocals are pre-recorded. furthermore there are some "sounds" that are legit impossible to reproduce in a live concert that are clearly backup track. The synced "Fly" which is yui, moa and su's voice in harmony, in this song is always a backup track in the live version (again, I think expecting moa and yui to sing after all that dancing is probably too much, so I can forgive it); even the "black baby metal" live performances are just tapes of Yui and Moa, or at-least I've never seen a live version that doesn't sound like a tape. Yui and Moa's audience interaction however seems like it's them not prerecorded, often they sound a bit out of breath in it.
#1 song to da dome.#2best BREAKDOWN ever #1.yava.this shit is like CALI STR8 FIRE!!!2soon.Testify its so live as fuck QUEEN SUZUKA S VOICE IS HEAVENLY.they got backing track.COME ON THEY WORK HARD AF TO DO IT ALL LIVE.
The best thing about babymetal. . . all of their songs has a different genre and full of "wow they did that?" That's mind blowing. They push it to everything. Thank you for another babymetal react.
This video you used is a compilation of live shows (I think saw only two, Big Fox Festival and Legend Metal Resistance) that some fan edited and put the audio of the song over. That is why it looked like lip-syncing to you. That's why react to compilations is a bad idea, it doesn't let reactors appreciate a true live performance and brings confusion. The song, Syncopation, was only released in the Japan edition of the CD, that's why it is a bit obscure. It happened the same to From Dusk til Dawn, that it was only released in the west in the place of Syncopation. But if you go a bit deep into the Babymetal community a lot of people will qualify Syncopation as the best song from the second album, over songs like Karate, Road of Resistance, The One or YAVA. The song itself has a lot of eastern pop tones in it, if you do not count DA DA Dance it's probably the most J-pop of them all. J-pop metal. The band is crazy, the main drummer, Aoyama, that guy is perfect. And yes, we are all here because they make us so happy, they bring joy to our lifes. And they know, they said that they wanted to do that when they made them interviews at very young age, when they were starting. They are delivering.
Nice reaction & thanks from Japan 有難う💛。And I appreciate you guys' interest in Japan. There are many excellent restaurants in Roppongi I have been enjoying and night clubs where I have never been to (I am an old man). For next reaction, how about recent performance at the Forum (2019) ? "Arkadia" th-cam.com/video/MJzLO9UL9qg/w-d-xo.html Supporting band is US-Kamis and they are great, too. Anthony Barone, the drummer has different power and skills than that Hideki Aoyama of original Kami band does. You will be impressed, I believe.
We are Babymetal folic but every time listen their songs BM makes us so happy and each song is awesome.Especially “Syncopation “ is so close to Jazz . Anyway Su Yui and Moa is our adorable queens.
This band shred’s, it’s a shame that the shorter guitarist pin the left passed away at the beginning of 2018. Mikio Fukuoka. Died after falling from a great height, the dude was a truly amazing guitarist. There are some great tribute videos for him on you tube, would make a great reaction, I saw one in particular where the other guitarist that’s usually on the right was playing a tribute solo for his friend, very emotional.
This one is the most Japanese style song for me. A small treasure chest packed with METAL, J-ROCK and J-POP. It is also a precision machine with the danger that one mistake by one person can ruin everything.
I love Babymetal, I bought all 3 albums on cd so I will always have it. You guys have to check out Motorhead. Specifically Overkill live from Stage Fright. Another great legendary band to get into.
There's no other band quite like Babymetal. Sure there are other Kawaii Metal bands like LadyBaby and Iron Bunny but Babymetal was the first and started it all. Babymetal is its own genre and its own band. Period.
No Su never lip synchs .. they do use backing tracks for backround vocals at times. This video is a compilation of several different shows, with the audio not synched lol to the video , the actual performance that goes with the audio I think is the Tokyo Dome show, not this mash-up.
7:52 Thx a lot *HOLLYWOOD.* I've certainly noticed it before but never gave it a second thought.. But now that it's been pointed out, that's all I'm fucking hearing during the chorus.. *lmao*
what kind of music fan are you if you do not enjoy this , doesn't matter what genre you label it this is fantastic , just imagine if they had radio exposure thwy would be a household name young old any age this is entertainment on a different level
Lovebites "Thunder Vengeance" live 2020. It's their opener for their show.....🔥🔥🔥 Jinjer "On the top" live in Kiev...🤘🏼 Drum and bass line has a massive groove to it.
The production company is Amuse, under the ægis of Kobametal. For the first couple of years they played to expertly forged backing tracks with actors dressed as skeletons (Babybones) miming instruments. Gradually the live band the Kami Band were introduced playing certain tracks as Babymetal exploded into the big time in Japan. The original Kami Band - Aoyama Hidiki on drums (occasionally Yuma Marta) BOH on bass guitars (including the famous 6 string one) and two lead guitarists, selected from the late Mikio Fujioka, Takayoshi Ohmura, and Leda Cygnus. A Western Kami Band did much of the Metal Galaxy World Tour.
The original Kami Band appeared at 'Legend I'. That was their only BABYMETAL concert. They were Hiroki Arai (guitar), Shiren (guitar), RYO (bass) and SHIN (drums). It was a while before we got to the line-up that many would consider the "classic" Kami Band. Also, who is "Yuma Marta"? Are you talking about Yuya Maeta? He was actually a Kami Band drumer.
Su‘s voice is always live (with the exception of a few very early performances). There are backing tracks that contain additional harmonies, and often Moa and Yui are lipsyncing as well. But I think what you are talking about is the perfection of Su‘s vocals. The audio of the official music videos and BluRay / DVD releases (that the clips of this compilation (* cough *) have been taken from) has certainly gone through some post production to correct errors. Even Su does hit one or two flat notes during a show, but you won’t hear those in the releases. That’s a normal process that every band has been doing for years now. If you watch fancam footage, you‘ll notice that her vocals are very stable in general, though.
Let me tell you a personal anecdote. I was lucky to be able to see them live in Brussels just before the whole covid thing hit hard. And I was really happy that she missed a note or three, because that made the other 99% of the concert soooo much more impressive.\ It showed to me that she was real, really there, it was no recording, she did everything we heard right there, because sometimes, veeeery sometimes, she couldn't hit a note. and that really hit me. Also, yes, BxMxC live is bonkers. And I can't listen to the studio version anymore, it doesn't even come close.
i've seen them live and it's 100% live vocals with backing tracks at some points but she's singing as well - but i could hear the inflections in Su voice and breathing.
Did you pick it up? In a word: stellar! I questioned dropping that much money on it, but once I watched it I had no issues anymore and would do it again in a heartbeat, no pun intended with this reaction song.
Hey guys, still loving BABYMETAL Mondays,, and yeah they make me happy as well, such a great concept for good via music and entertainment, I'm guessing you must be starting to struggle to find new material as the Mondays tick by,, have you tried some of the new fan cam Pro shoot videos like Brand new day and Arkadia?
Sooner or later one day, Smokey you may have a "BABYMETAL' tattoo somewhere on your body, maybe Hollywood has too as well. Anyway, another good reaction, as always. p.s. The only song you haven't react to from BM's first ablum is "4の歌" (Song 4 (Yon on Uta)), & I'm looking forward to it in the very near future. Kitsune Up. p.s. I've just watched your reaction again, very excuse me, seems like I mixed up you two gentlemen's name, very sorry about that.
dude i am 64 and two months ago i got a Babymetal tatoo its in Japanese script its big people ask what does that mean , they don' have a clue who BM is so i just say HAPPYNESS
Su-Metal has been around a long time. You all should react to her performance of a song called "Over the Future," with the group Karen Girl's, then do a back to back reaction to Babymetal covering the same song. You really see just how much Su was already a star at such a young age (10?)
This was a fan-made compilation video with footage from, at least, three shows and the audio from their Tokyo Dome show back in 2016. And it wasn't really good made in terms of keeping the sync between video and audio...
I've seen them live once, and I can tell there are definitely extra vocals in the prerecorded tracks. But, I firmly believe all 3 of them are singing live...well... technically just 2 since Yui left in 2018.
Nice reaction!! I always look forward to BM Monday. BM's songs are surprising, inspiring, fun and happy. I believe BM's dream of bringing the world together through happy music is achievable. By the way... I personally think the reason live compilation videos are made is because everyone wants to see the 3 princesses but Delo(※Finally, I'll explain what I mean by "Delo") is too much of a self-indulgent editorial edit. Since they use a single live sound source and the video is cut and pasted from multiple live performances, the video and sound will inevitably be out of sync. This is why I prefer the どセン(※"Dosen" is also explained at the end of this section) fun cams to MV and Delo. It sounds bad, but... ※Delo The problem with SU's test at Sakura Gakuin "What does the D at the end of a DVD or BD mean?" The answer, of course, is discs, but SU answered "DeLorean" and made all sorts of excuses. Because of this event, fans refer to the DVD and BD as Delo(We often abbreviate the word in Japan). Video evidence ⇒ th-cam.com/video/bGmVAd3MFzY/w-d-xo.html ※どセン(dosen) It's mean "dead center". This is the one in Headbangeeeeerrrrr's lyrics. "今日も、どセンに突撃(kyoumo dosen ni totsugeki)" Meaning, I assaulted the dead center in the front row of the venue again today. I hope you continue to enjoy your BABYMETAL. Put your Kitsune🦊 up! from Japan. (Translation by DeepL)
Su does not lip sync unless there's an obvious effect, such as a couple of the screams in Iine that are obviously not her the one quiet bit in the bridge of Akumu no Rondo before she comes back in for the chorus. Moa lip syncs quite a bit because of her choreography being so intense, but she does mostly live vocals for the Black Babymetal songs.
You guys really need to do two things. A. Watch the ‘Unhelpful Guide to Babymetal. It’s not perfect, but will give you great insight, into their background. B. Watch some full concerts on Twitch. The Babymetal community is quite big on that platform and would support you if you set a time & date. Lots of great concerts to watch. IE the very latest Legend Metal Galaxy Day 1 & 2, Tokyo Dome Red & Black Night’s, Wembley etc.
This is the problem with using compilation videos like this, especially since it was fan made, and not an official video. They don't always sync up and can give the impression that it's lip-synced, and having multiple shows stitched together really ruins the flow. Avoid them like the plague. You guys should really watch/react to the Unhelpful Guide to Babymetal, as it's full of useful info from the beginning until now, 2020.
While I do agree that sometimes the synchronization of the videos stitched together can be off, I wouldn't avoid watching them. I think the concept of a live compilation video is great overall because you get to see elements from some shows that you don't see in others in just one video. I've really enjoyed watching them. Especially cause I've never been to a BABYMETAL concert 😔 lol
@@MiahW I'd say compilations can be fine for all the reasons you said - if you already know the song and have maybe seen other performances. For a first time reaction they can take away a lot from what is special about a full live performance.
That is live audio and she is not lip synching. You can hear her blowing into the mic when she breathes sometimes if you listen. Here is a fancam how does she sound? th-cam.com/video/A6dUvXcOs-0/w-d-xo.html But you know it's live because she sounds BETTER than the studio version.
I was writing a comment for something else you wrote ?: Just 30 minutes ago or so I was watching 2 other things: Jamiroquai Virtual Insanity from 1995 (check the lyrics if you've never noticed) and after that someone ( Beau of the Fifth Column ) talking about the US being a failed state (in case you are wondering, yes it fits the definition)
@@Jordan-Ramses Why not? Beau does make a good point, here, listen for yourself... th-cam.com/video/AjtzXryZ-7o/w-d-xo.html You might disagree with him on details, but overall, his point his hard to refute.
@@Jordan-Ramses Belittling won't work with me, I'm grown up enough not to be worried about such comments. The video is NOT about the election of a particular politician, it's about the state of the country, after generations of abuse by all types of politicians. Sure, we are living through some disturbing times, and it is tempting to impute all of this on one person, but this is not what Beau is saying. You should really listen to the video. If you refuse to both listen and try to even consider what Beau is saying, then you are the living proof that Beau is right, not because of any particular political leaning you might have (I don't know who you favour. I might try to guess, but I won't because it is not important in the context of that video.), but because of your specific attitude which si what Beau is talking about. If this might help you decide to listen to him or ot, he is an ex-military, so he is not some whining baby as you seem to suggest. The toxicity on both sides has rendered the political system unmanageable and actually destructive. I encourage you to listen to what he has to say and come back with specific points if you must, not just with a dismissive reply that indicate you didn't actually try to listen to what someone is suggesting. This is why the American system is so toxic, this refusal to listen to the other side BECAUSE they are the other side, not because of the validity of their ideas.
I watch the Tokyo Dome show at least 4x a week. I'm actually hooked tho I don't do metal. Same with a few other concerts. The website is in all Japanese but I was smart... Day 2 is actually good too and available on TH-cam💯 I even watched their old ones just to see them grow n realize their gamble paid off. I surprised myself I listen to Babymetal. #TH-cam
Casino is not given approval legally yet in Japan so there are no casino place in Roppongi. Roppongi may be not so interesting place to go . Just bars and restaurants. You should go to Akihabara and Harajuku if you visit Japan😉🤘 BTW pls listen to songs called Destiny and Angel of Salvation by Galneryus .They are awesome too🎉
Babymetal is awesome! Have you ever react to the Japanese band name Scandal? Please check them out! I can give you some links for their songs! Please do a react video for them. Also you should check out Band-maid too By the way I am living in Tokyo now.
This is a compilation video. They use only one audio track, but sync it with segments from different shows, and it's not going to be perfect. Similar to other bands (Nightwish for example), they use backing tracks, but the girls (especially Su) sing live. You can easily find cellphone recordings showing Su's voice making mistakes, going flat or out-of-tune at times, which is normal. For the official releases, I'm pretty sure that they fix the imperfections in post.
You haven't seen them live I take it? They don't lip sync. Not even Moa. They sound this good LIVE! They've been performing since they were little. Su has been singing since she was like 7 or 8 years old. Modeling since 5. Su joined Sakura Gakuin at age 13 right before her 14th birthday. Moa and Yui joined at 10 years old but have been doing commercials and small modeling and acting jobs since they were children. They're already established singers by the time they joined Sakura Gakuin, much less Babymetal. The drummer? We the fans know EXACTLY who the musicians are. Especially the Japanese fans, since these musicians are already known there. Hideki Aoyama is the drummer, whose father was a drumming icon in Japan. Takayoshi Ohmura has his own band and had played with Marty Friedmans (ex-Megadeth) band for years. Mikio Fujioka was a mystic professor at Tokyo University of music. Boh also had his own band but was mostly just a very proficient session player. Not to mention the other band members.
First! underrated BABYMETAL song but one of my favorites! Su is always singing live. This is just a live compilation video though

Blessed by the foxgod you right there .🤘🦊🤘
My favorite day has come, BABYMETAL DAY,
you are right, we heard BABYMETAl because it makes us happy, I can't get enough of watching the hard work of these girls in each performance together with this animal band in this video it looks like lip sync because it is a compilation of videos with the original music, but in live shows SU does not use lip sync, i think the drummer's name is Hideki Aoyama
"beacause it makes me happy.." Absolutely the best reason.
finally syncopation one of the best songs from BABYMETAL, another one that you should react to and from dusk till dawn, thanks for the excellent react
BABYMETAL is happy metal!
I said it before and I will say it again For me this is the best BabyMetal song, period. The instrumentals, the choreography, the vocals - never fails to give me goosebumps. Thanks for your reaction, great work as always!
⚡ 💀 💕 / 🎶 💕
This is a compilation video, so not all of the vocals are going to match up. : )
After you get through the videos on the official channel, most of what you'll find has been ripped from blu-rays of their concerts.
BabyMetal到目前為止感覺沒有她們做不到的,勇敢嘗試不同的風格,完美的演出專業的表現,讓人不愛都不行,當然兩位也一樣超棒,加油!!
"...because it makes me happy!"
Yeah, that's it...you nailed it
Su-metal and most of metal singers usually don't lip sync live, i've never heard Su-metal doing lip sync, it just Yui and Moa sometimes using backing track to cover their parts
I saw BabyMetal in 2016 in Detroit. Yes there are backing tracks for piano and special effects but trust me I heard live music the whole night. Unreal how Top Teir they are live.
やっとシンコペーション来た━(゚∀゚)━!

Seen BM live several times and if you guys ever get a chance to go see BABYMETAL, you will know Su is singing with her heart and its ALL LIVE BABY.
🤘🤘🤘
All hail The Fox God
But while I'm here on a thread with a complete expert on all things Babymetal, why _is_ this song called 'Syncopation'?
@@Varksterable Haha. Sorry to let you down on the outrage ... sadly I'm going to destroy my reputation for knowing stuff too, I really don't know enough about 'Syncopation' to know why it is called that, I'm always too busy listening and enjoying it to have really looked at the lyrics since early on and I forgot exactly what they are.
@@Grington300 Thanks for your response. And your other gazillion informative posts over the years. 😘
But this is a genuinely perplexing question for me. "Syncopation" has a specific musical meaning.
(As does "Rondo" but let's not go there). But it simply doesn't fit this song as far as I can tell.
I guess the only way to resolve this is to totally learn a new language, along with all its nuances and culture and then make references to the
Who am kidding? It's just a kick-ass song. [Semi-perplexed-frown]
Compilation:
Big Fox Festival (2017) - Yui's last show
Tokyo Dome - Red Night (2016)
And at least 2 other shows.
Audio track:
Tokyo Dome Red Night (2016) - Based on the first guitar break. I could be completely wrong.
Questions:
1) Lipsynching: No. This is live audio over a compilation video.
2) The Kami Band for Tokyo Dome Red Night and for the Big Fox Festival was Hideki Aoyama (Drums), BOH (Bass), Mikio Fujioka (Guitars), and Takayoshi Ohmura (Guitars)
3) In October 2010, Su-metal was 12 years old. Moa & Yui were 11.
Su solos:
BABYMETAL: Akatsuki and Rondo of Nightmare
Metal Resistance: Amore and No Rain, No Rainbow
Now...
I love watching you guys enjoying these videos as much as I do!
BABYMETAL fans are getting these unofficial compilations down to a fine art! lol
Anyway, keep up the good work with these reactions :)
Ahhhh... Syncopation. The song which making you motivated. This song is also feels like used in opening of action anime. Previously, this song can’t be downloaded in iTunes due to privilege available only in Japanese market. Now it is available guys! However the track is not recorded in studio but live concert.
This is my absolutely fav song of Babymetal so far, and i was wating for this react video hahah, thank u guys!
Great reaction🤘😆
Cute choreography💕💕
Please come to Japan someday🇯🇵
Grreat reaction as always. And no, they don't lip sync.Yava! with Kami band intro next... ;)

I watched the live broadcast that took place a week ago from the new DVD, the HEADBANGER version is the best one that ever existed

No Su never lip synchs .. they do use backing tracks for backround vocals at times. This video is a compilation of several different shows, with the audio not synched lol to the video , the actual performance that goes with the audio I think is the Tokyo Dome show, not this mash-up.

Rick Wagner typo or spell check for the drummer.didn’t know the details of the early musicians
And I was really happy that she missed a note or three, because that made the other 99% of the concert soooo much more impressive.\
It showed to me that she was real, really there, it was no recording, she did everything we heard right there, because sometimes, veeeery sometimes, she couldn't hit a note. and that really hit me.
Also, yes, BxMxC live is bonkers. And I can't listen to the studio version anymore, it doesn't even come close.
Babymetal - Awadama Fever (NHK version)
i've seen them live and it's 100% live vocals with backing tracks at some points but she's singing as well - but i could hear the inflections in Su voice and breathing.
it looked like this was taken from a few concerts because their outfits changed
Great reaction! Gotta do Awadama Fever next!
Also babymetal releases live albums (they just dropped one in fact) so you can hear for yourself
Did you pick it up? In a word: stellar! I questioned dropping that much money on it, but once I watched it I had no issues anymore and would do it again in a heartbeat, no pun intended with this reaction song.

dude i am 64 and two months ago i got a Babymetal tatoo its in Japanese script its big people ask what does that mean , they don' have a clue who BM is so i just say HAPPYNESS
One of my faves
Yeah more babymetal reaction
※Delo
The problem with SU's test at Sakura Gakuin "What does the D at the end of a DVD or BD mean?" The answer, of course, is discs, but SU answered "DeLorean" and made all sorts of excuses. Because of this event, fans refer to the DVD and BD as Delo(We often abbreviate the word in Japan).
Video evidence ⇒ th-cam.com/video/bGmVAd3MFzY/w-d-xo.html
※どセン(dosen)
It's mean "dead center". This is the one in Headbangeeeeerrrrr's lyrics.
"今日も、どセンに突撃(kyoumo dosen ni totsugeki)"
Meaning, I assaulted the dead center in the front row of the venue again today.
I hope you continue to enjoy your BABYMETAL.

Happy Moa-nday guys!
IE the very latest Legend Metal Galaxy Day 1 & 2, Tokyo Dome Red & Black Night’s, Wembley etc.
i love the yui and moas vocals " translated they are saying " like-dislike-like-dislike "
Only bad actor or singer doing lip sync but out of sync lol
@@MiahW I'd say compilations can be fine for all the reasons you said - if you already know the song and have maybe seen other performances. For a first time reaction they can take away a lot from what is special about a full live performance.

This is why the American system is so toxic, this refusal to listen to the other side BECAUSE they are the other side, not because of the validity of their ideas.
love them ^^
If you're interested in other Japanese metal, you should listen to Boris. And the song Pink.
