Looks so progressive, yet, the road should be improved, to International standards! Politicians should be thinking about total beautification of the place, instead of stealing the taxes!!!
yes improve the faciliities, infrastructure without sacrificing the nature. instead they use the taxes to acquire wealth for their families. that's why the sidewalks are crumbling.
@@jingxubs4617 it's not a contest, you need to do it for both, ElNido , Coron is the same way the towns are dusty. The city govt need to spend the revenue on improving the infrastructure without destroying the nature.
I was able to visit Panglao last August 2023, it was a beautiful place. A lot of South Korean businesses and tourists. The building construction are inwork and the international airport just completed. I was not able to visit all locations but I am planning to go back that Island with my husband so he can decide if he like to relocate that place.
They overbuilt the place and spoiled its natural beauty. I blame the greed of the local politicians, who don't do nearly enough to improve the area and preserve the natural beauty and wildlife...all the local trapos are interested in doing is collecting the taxes and fees.
Great location. I loved Bohol, it's History, the River cruise, snorkelling at Balicasag Island. The place just blew me away. We hired an Outrigger with two young crew at the price they asked for, very resonable. They waited patiently for us for over two hours which allowed us to explore the marine sanctuary with my partner. This atoll with it's marine life dropping into the Abyss is incredible and a must do in Bohol. They also got a well deserved tip 👏
Eh, the Loboc River Cruise is just a tourist trap for Koreans. The locals who live along the Loboc River actually hate it because the motorized boat restos erode the shoreline and harm the ecosystem. They also put up ugly streetlights along the bank of the river, causing light pollution and ambient light so people can't enjoy stargazing and peaceful nights in the jungle. As well as the very terrible and loud karaoke sung at all hours going up and down the river. Hard pass!
@danielstoddart Sounds like a world away from what it was like in 2016. Hopefully I'm not disappointed when I visit my next Philli desto, Corrigador Island.
A lot of improvement in this place. However, it is becoming to be like Puerto galera and some other islands with what seemed to be so pristine much like boracay. The problem is. People didn't realized that these islands "do not have waste disposal facilities". In other words, all those fecal waste are just being spread out of the islands. It is not what it seemed to be Beach goers ha ha ha
I was here in 1984 on my bicycle……. Pedaled about 1700 miles of the Philippines in 3.5 months. I came back in 2019 with the same bicycle and same fat butt for 1 month. I couldn’t believe signs were in Chinese and Korean at Alona Beach.
It was so much nicer when my wife and I went there in 2004. It wasn’t as built up and it was a beautiful, romantic walk at night along amongst the coconut trees. We went back 10 years later and it was ruined with too many buildings and restaurants each playing loud music trying to drown out their neighbours. Also went scuba diving there and that was the worst diving I’ve had in the Philippines
Alona Beach is really quite overrated, I'm afraid. At high tide there isn't even much beach to speak of at all-the water reaches the edge of the resort restaurant patios. It's also overcrowded and overbuilt, and full of local hawkers and people selling shady goods. The noise level is another issue. They seem to want to cater to Korean and Chinese tourists who want to hear loud "disco" music played late at night.
Khit na thats what Sissy said ayusin nla...not in order tlaga Pinas like in Boracay puno dn ng bangka kung saan mag swimming mga tao! @Ministry of Tourism Philippines
Ang pampang ay malapit sa beach. Ang ingay nyan. Mukang siksikan. Siguro Private Beach Resorts are more better in Bohol than a public beach.
i was there...a shit-beach with much grass in the water....i saw red-fire-fish near the beach....and coral-snakes....on land many phytons at night....come even to the beach-cottages looking for chicken
looks like too commercialized,, sobrang lapit ng mga resorts sa beach. i dont think i will enjoy that place.. much better pa beaches sa pangasinan, palawan, romblon..etc
Anyway the best ang Hennan resort diyan 😎
I was here in June 2023 and I’m from Australia! What a waste of sea creatures killed for food and what a waste of fish and crabs and all sort of sea creatures indiscriminately killed. I met a nice lady named Elwina on the beach and she arranged several trips in Bohol for us.
best beach i have been to.. its so chilled and relax there

why pathways in boracay going to the beach are muddy and not presentable while they are of higher income

Finally , somebody notice it,
how will the politicians dress their children in gucci and send them to school in usa if they develop the infrastructure. think before speaking
One of my favorite beaches in the WORLD! HELLO BOHOL! LET'S GO PHILIPPINES!
Panglao-Bohol and Siargao are projected to surpass the number of foreign tourist arrivals of Boracay by 2025.
Wow, I am proud to be Pinoy......This is a beautiful island and it looks like Boracay😍😍😍
Foreigners love Bohol because it is not full of people and the beach is serene and quiet and not so commercialized. It is very relaxing in Bohol.
thats not true lol its full of people alona beach is very busy

Kind of busy road. Thank you update in Bohol and I hope to visit soon in the Philippine. I’m new subscribers.
Thanks for subbing!
IM looking forward to being there in March.
I’m so glad the country has beautiful beaches to show the world. The beauty and peace makes up for the bad and ugly cities like Manila.
in Jan 1994 there was nothing here,,a beautiful beach,a few dive shops and nepa huts to rent. a very bad road to get there.what a change
