Hello I have graduated from Tunghai for 30 years. Hopefully, you will experience with the wonderful student's life in the beautiful campus and enjoy nice living in Taichung. By the way Tunghai is famous of the celebration of the silent night and Christmas.
Hey, So I guess now you have a lot of experience with Tung hai and living in Taichung. I have a general question. I will be taking up Chinese studies. Doing it the Kenny way..study and then look for jobs simultaneously and hopefully get a work permit eventually. I dont have any scholarships. So, I noticed the Chinese language program (term) was more affordable at Feng chia. I wanted to ask, what made you pick Tunghai and is it better? I mean now that you're there for about a year. Do you think Tunghai has advantages over Feng chia for Chinese learning? I have narrowed down to Taichung for living. But amongst the options in universities, I'm not able to decide if one is better than another.
Both universities are ok 👍 Looking at Chinese learning, our friend mentioned that studying at Tunghai is more relaxing and not so much homework to do as for Feng Chia they have weekly tests. And It depends on in which area you want to live, Tunghai has a very beautiful campus, it’s nice to walk there if you like relaxing place, it has a night market near by. Feng Chia is located next to the bustling night market and it can be quite busy during the evening, but lots of restaurants around.
Are you a HES student? I hope you would have a wonderful time in Taiwan. Could you tell me whether the university is located in mountainous area? How convenient it is for students to go to places outside the school? Are you satisfied with your dormitory? Thank you and hope to see more videos about your life in Taichung!
Hi, no I’m not a HES student unfortunately. Yes, the university is in the mountainous area but it’s still within a city and the transportation is convenient here, the view is great too. It’s easy to go out of the school and go anywhere by bus(they are free for students). I currently stay in the apartment, you can check out my room: th-cam.com/video/udonZeYACVA/w-d-xo.html . Welcome to my channel, stay tuned for the coming videos! 😊
@@jennykenny_jk Thank you so much for your reply. I had a wonderful journey in Taiwan as a Mandarin language student, but I lived in Taipei so I didn't explore Taichung and cities in the south much. Honestly I prefer the weather in Taichung haha as it doesn't rain as much as Taipei. I'll keep watching your videos ^^. Wish you all the best with your journey in Taiwan!
@@jennykenny_jk nn one thing I'm so confused about ,they asked for hsk level3 ,m It's really confusing bc there's so many scholarships ,diff guidelines
Welcome to Taiwan, hope you will enjoy it during the perion of your study in Taiwan.
