I loved how Henry was heartbroken in entire episode and even some heavy adventure(which he likes)was enough to cheer him up and couldn't even bare a day being emotionally distant from Regina!
which is so weird cuz he was ready to abandon her, report her to social services in season 1 lmao but Regina did gaslight him a lot to protect her secret and the curse, soooo idk but still he was mad ready to leave her behind once he found Emma. It was nice seeing Henry put more care for Regina at this point
@@jpierce8148 during Season 3, Regina was learning to slowly let go of the grudge and anger she had against Snow because both of them discovered their feud had complicated history that started with Cora and Ava. Once, Regina worked on redeeming herself that’s when Henry was willing to trust, love, and accept her as his mother.
Say what you will about the actor... but I think Henry's character arc was one of the best in things in this show. Back when he was a child, his faith was so blind, he failed to see the grey area in the world. But after watching his adoptive mother almost lose her life to save him, and the whole ordeal with Pan, he learned about that grey area. He just needs to be more flexible to see it. That's how he managed to finally forgive his mother. By understanding who she truly was.
He loves Regina despite everything that's why he never stops calling her Mama, instead Emma does call her Emma on a couple of occasions, and in 2x20 Regina learns that they want to return to the enchanted forest without her and tells Henry that what they want to do proposes that he fence the two of them together forever and he considers it the problem is when he tells him he is going to kill the others.
the thing that erks me the most is that time and time again regina is being shoved to the sidelines when it comes to Henry. All she ever wanted was for Henry to be happy and she tried her best.
Cal from "Manifest" is like a twisted version of Henry. At least Henry tried to understand that even though Regina was a villain, that doesn't mean he must not see the grey area of things. Cal on the other hand, sees black and white only. For him there's only the Callings. And because of him, Angelina killed Grace.
There are two crossover fanfics between this saga and "OUAT" (I'm surprised there aren't like hundreds of them). Sora, Kairie and Riku's story was that Kairie was the princess of a kingdom in the Enchanted Forest that swore to protect the world of light, Sora was her Keyblade knight, and Riku was simply a knight. The Dark Curse separated the three of them and made Sora and Riku enemies, Kairie's fate kinda unknown. Why am I talking about this ? Ever since I read them and played "Nirvana Initiative", I have been thinking. What if the worlds'saga is meant to suffer a complete reset "Dark Curse" style ? For a new world to be born ? I guess, like Kirari and Yumeko from "Kagegurui", I want to see the universe come to its flashy end, to see its rebirth and what comes out of it. Actually...I don't think this is something recent. Ever since the first game, when Ansem talked about death, that I could only wonder how this universe's hidden side is ? What lies beyond lign and darkness ? What happens when the light separating them evaporates ? What is left ? Will the dead rise ? Will people be reborn ? The possibilities are endless. And all it takes is someone to perform the heart surgery without being manipulated by neither the power nor the characters.
