I loved it and still consider the idea that our world could potentially be some sort of simulation if we agree that our bodies are vessels allowing eternal souls to experience "life" as organic beings.
Makes you wonder how real the "real world" is. Sometimes "surreal' is a better description. 2016 was when reality started going off the rails, it's been a trainwreck ever since.
Wow! Great work! Great ending! I thought he'd just he'd wake up missing a kidney or something. Much worse! HA! Great job and great acting! Like Jon said below, 10/10!
A Masterpiece! And the use of "A mind is born" for the end credits screen put a huge ☺on my face! As if it was made for this! (For those who don't know: that's a 256byte (!) tiny demo running on a 1982 Commodore C64 computer that produces this sound and the background visuals...)
This was very good, didn't expect the ending. And what is happening with the guy from Spiderman? He is getting way too heavy, he needs to get that in check or he won't be around for many more roles.
Very Interesting, . . . A Simulation, Within Another Simulation, Just Like I, And Many, . . . Many Others Here Believe We All Are Inside Of . . . . And The Actress Who Plays The Main Supposed AI Character Is Gorgeous . . . :-)
the actual actor at the beginning who is way obese is actually in way more danger than any of the characters in the plot line - I am not shaming I am just saying this guy needs to really find it in himself to understand that diabetes or metabolic synsdrome which ever he is suffereing from is way dangerous and gets in the way of living a somewhat long life - my concern for this individual gets in the way of me enjoying this movie - I mean the actor is a real guy living a real life so that transcends any fictional work depicted on the screen - the guy is living a life where he eating junk and probably in some sort of depressional funk and really needs someone to try to reach him and say "hello - let's get things turned around" - and if not well good luck with things and I am sorry life has let you down.
This made no sense, was confusing and the actors didn’t sell the gravity of the story. There just wasn’t any vested interest in this story. At least the film students who comment on here will drool over it, helping you feel good.
Very good story line. However I didn't like the stereo typical way that Bernie was played. Every scene he was eating food or drinking cans of something. Just because he is overweight doesn't justify this portrayal that he always has to be eating and drinking junk food .
But reality dictates that to get fat you have to be gluttonous, sure certain conditions unfortunately cause this result to be easier to achieve, but it is a lie to state otherwise.
Classy. Intelligent storyline, professional editing and production; gives you something to think about. One of the best shorts here.

Great post
My second time watching this and I'm STILL astonished by its ingenuity. Great work. 10/10.
Same. Really enjoyed seeing it a second time.
Great storyline, acting, and twist. Kudos 👏🏿
This is one of, if not the best story I’ve seen on Dust!
Makes you wonder how real the "real world" is. Sometimes "surreal' is a better description. 2016 was when reality started going off the rails, it's been a trainwreck ever since.
Feel same.
Wow, I didn’t think Peters best mate would be in this hahaha
OK AM I THE ONLY ONE A LIL LOST HERE WTH THIS ONE????
I like the film. Well worth watching. Need longer episodes.
Great story ,acting , and idea , I believe everything we imagine exist in different points of existence that’s why we can imagine it
8:26 we 'what' you? wrote? eat? CC is a must.
This was OK, but the movie "The Thirteenth Floor" did this concept a lot better!
All these throwbacks remind me why I fell in love with DUST from day 1. Thank you!
Oh sweet! Thirteenth Floor but in 15 minutes. Nice!
Awesome! It’s like a combination of Black Mirror, Ex Machina & The Matrix
Subtitles please for non hearing people - and also for non natives speakers! Thanks
Fascinating concept, bravo!
It's the dude from Reginald the vampire. Awesome
reminds me of „Thirteenth floor“ in cinema in 1999 …
Solid 3 out of 10.
Top notch acting and story. Well shot as well
Mind 💥

Wow! Great work! Great ending! I thought he'd just he'd wake up missing a kidney or something. Much worse! HA! Great job and great acting! Like Jon said below, 10/10!
Is that ‘Reginald the vampire’?

Nice story, good acting and photography on a theme I am really interested in - I like it!
Simply Brilliant!!!!
More human nature than simulation. Always trying to outfox and control one and other. 😬
This was very good, didn't expect the ending. And what is happening with the guy from Spiderman? He is getting way too heavy, he needs to get that in check or he won't be around for many more roles.
It's like looking through a telescope only to see someone looking down through a microscope. 😁
Wow great story. Reminds me of inception.
This was an excellent short! Maybe we all live in a Matrix.
On Saturday, February 17, 2024, all the telephones in the world rang …
Mamoudou is a legend in the making process
Great
Even better ending than I expected … as expected!
P.S. Make it so. I’ve got a few people to delete.
very Twilight Zone. Thumbs Up.
nice story
Eerily excellent.
HA! good one!
Ingenious.
Is this what we are
to expect from A.I.?
I do not believe
I am living in a simulation.
What do you think?
+ Durasaxon + ✝️
Woah! Amazing!
☠🤖☠
Awesome 👏 Bravo
Definitely sci-fi. Earth is a realm, not a ball.
Wow! This is the Matrix on Steroids!
Nice, the Sci fi here is better than the big money movies. More thought provoking
the whole idea was the idea, kudos well played
Damn those fuckin' AIs
A terrifying future that could await us all.
One of the best ive seen on DUST!
This was incredible!!!

Beauty, Is Beauty, No Matter What The Outer Skin Colour Is . . . :-)
Reminds me of Hugh Howey's short story, The Box. This film was pretty good, well acted and believable. Kinda scary in a way too lol
Quality 👍🏿
What the !!!!!!!!!!!!!!
*Great cast and performance!*

Freaky.

I disliked this. CC Eng sub pls.

Always about alcohol. Almost every scene.. a little boring
