If you have the money my advice would be to get the rb you can do everything that the f could do but better, if you learn to ride on the rb you’ll be a much better rider. Good luck to anyone just grabbing a bike at the end of the day it doesn’t matter what your ridin enjoy it🤘🏻

I would say keep your RM. The 150 has a torque advantage but the 85 is lighter and speed wise if you're fast you're fast the 150 won't help. Huge advantage on the 85 though is maintenance/reliability. Top end with gaskets is like $80-$100 and takes an hour at most to replace. If your top end on the 150 blows well good lucky need a whole rebuild.

I have both of them. I did a drag race with 150r 150f and a 230f and the 150r walked them both hard. When you called your 150f a pogo stick I was just thinking the suspension isn't as bad a mind. The back sags ether was and if you tap the front brake the front suspension bottoms out. But it runs good

You compared a full race bike to a beginner trail bike. As far as the motor goes the unicam on the 150r isn't a differnce from the 150f. Uni means 1 so it has 1 cam shaft. The 150f has 1 cam as well therefore its a unicam also. The big difference in the motors is that the 150r has 4 valves and the cam profile is much much different. The compression on the 150r is way higher and the rev limiter way higher on top of this the bore and stroke are much way different even though they're both 150cc. the 150r uses a short skirt piston with way bigger bore therefore has a shorter stroke. The bikes have completely different geometry head tube angle height ground clearance etc the 150f has 50% of the suspension and also probably weighs 20 lbs more. They're apples to oranges.
cameron floyd hey man you can chill out with the cool paragraph I was reviewing two bikes in my garage and If you know how to ride bikes correctly both bikes could be relatively the same speed on the trails. The only difference to point out on these bikes is the way higher revving cc and suspension. I was making these videos for people getting into Honda that might see the 150cc tag and think they are the same bike which they are not

Rn I have a crf150f, I’m obviously too big for it, I’m 5’8 and 14. I don’t wanna race and I don’t ever plan on it, I had a rm85, I was probably 5’4 and 13 when I got that, maybe shorter. I had the bike for about 9-10 months and put no more than 6 hours on it, I doubt it was that much, I’m deciding between a 250r and a 150r, I’m telling my dad about it and he knows that I’ve been wanting either one. I’m not sure that I should get a 250r considering it would feel like a rocket ship when I get on it, but the 150r seems great, I know I’m probably too tall for it, if not I will be before too long. I know they give a lot of power but I just don’t know which one I should get, a 250r or a 150r, I do simple trail riding, I’ve put many hours on my 150f and I consider myself an average rider.
Trash can - I would go for a 250 if your 5’8 the 150 will be way to tiny for you the 150R is tinier than the 150f but the 150 RB is the same size as the 150 f.

Itz Actionz - I think you should certainly get a 150RB it most likely would fit you plus if you are going to race this is the bike to go.

Yes the 150rb would be certainly to big I’m 5,5 and almost to big for it. You should get a crf230f or a trail bike like that to begin with.
