Bio: I am a life long Knoxville, TN angler. Fishing from the bank, kayak, or bass boat. This channel is my creative outlet, but I also hope we can share adventures and learning experiences. Just wanted to tell you how much I appreciate your videos, but this one in particular. No matter the level of kayaker, this video provides a ton of meaningful information. I have fished Knoxville basically my entire life, but from the banks or in boats w/ friends and fam. I just bought my first fishing kayak this week, and while I have kayaked a ton, I am seeking out all the knowledge I can absorb. I know making this video's must be incredibly time consuming and tough, but if you can making these "episodes," you will have a dedicated viewer in me! I am likely to be going solo a ton, so I am looking for places to get out and go but be able to get back to my vehicle as I wouldn't have that take out ride back. I'm guessing if subsequent vids happen, maybe some of those options will pop up. Thanks again for your channel and videos. It is greatly appreciated!
Been into paddleboarding on the downtown river for a couple years now but never bothered to learn about the dam release schedule or general river flow. Just learned so much from this video, thanks for the info!
Have you ever kayaked from Seven Islands State birding park to Downtown Knoxville?
Excellent video. In your opinion whats the best time of the day to go kayaking to see planes take off.
During the week, in the summer, around 6p. The best time though is Saturday.. If the weather is good, all day. Thanks for watching!
Are there kayak shuttles in Knoxville?
Hello. Thanks for watching. There are not any regularly running shuttles except the fisherman’s friend on the clinch river near Clinton and Norris. I was just talking with a friend recently that we need one.
You're not worried about how filthy the TN river is? I'd be afraid to kayak it, seeing as how kayaking involves alot more contact with the water than using a larger boat. I'd be worried about biological issues with water quality and def. wouldn't eat anything out of there or the FB river down that low. That said, I'm not from here and maybe government entities make it sound worse than it is? Thoughts?
Thanks for watching! I don’t eat any fish from.. well, any river around here really. Maybe the clinch or stocked fish from Gatlinburg. It probably isn’t a good idea to jump in with your mouth open, but a few drops from kayaking probably won’t hurt.
