Last weekend during the Shark Radio Tournament. I used my FD1 to fly out a whole 19" black drum with a 10oz weight and 30ft leader. 400 yards out with a 25mph head wind. 1 run will eat up a battery, but that FD1 is a beast. I have the older FD1 not the +. But that's why I have 5 batteries. With my normal 6ft-8ft leaders with 8oz weights and cut mullet it will but run out 4-6 lines 200 yards a piece. With little to no wind it take about 10-12 runs per battery. It truly is a work horse. I'm gonna get a Max here soon to carry even bigger baits.
I'm glad that you mentioned the price on that 1st drone, one that you had 1 yr ago shocked me as to its price. I mean it was so out there I could get a fair used motorcycle but I digress. Thanks for all the info, $1200 is still out of my range but one never knows when my wants/needs will change & I'll be pulling up THIS Video to help me get it. peace
Thanks for posting. l noticed an interesting tip, that you use a cable tie for the hook. will try that🙏. Unfortunately your discount code don’t work in my area.
I have a question. See if you can help me. I want to register my Fisherman Max with the FAA. They are asking me for the control ID serial number Where is that?
Great idea these drones for fishing Mate may be using them sometimes . Because if every Fisher Person used one some of the present and future Fisher People will lose the Art of Surf Casting. Regards. Laurie from down under. Tight Lines.
Are you in the west end of Galveston? Also, did you need to get your FFA part 107 pilot license? I believe you need that to make any money. Are you making money with this TH-cam channel? Just looking out for you.
@@BeachBomberFishing yup. I dropped a bait at 200 meters, hit the return to home button and then a split second later it fell out of the sky. Never saw it again.
@lazyakers man that's crazy. Idk how that would happen. I've heard of it happening, I had one fall out but it was because I was hand tightening the rotors, and not using the tool to tighten them.
@@lazyakersdid your controller have fresh batteries? Bc I know if your controller battery level has to do with the connection to an from the drone , I always swap mine out every trip

I’m loving my new FD1+ the no-calibration makes it so easy. Swellpro has really evolved in the last 8+ years.👍🏼👍🏼

Nicely done video, Beach Bomber..... you did an outstanding job on the differences in these. Kids back at school?
peace man
Man, that FD3 is right for me! 🤩
I picked up the FD3 because of your videos
Have the FD1+ and love it so far. Might upgrade to the max down the road.

Hey man, thanks for all the info. I got the fd3 and was curious if you could create a video of how to make videos with the camera on it. Thanks again!
I love my FD2
How long does it take to charge the batteries???
A little over an hour
Great video. What replaced the splashdrone 4 ?
How many 1lb bait drops can the fd3 do on a dingle charge, if you drop at 200 yards each drop?
how would you return the drone to base on a fishing boat when the base is drifting ?
Can you make a video on how to use the app from your phone with the drone? For example waypoints etc.
Swell pro has all the specs and differences for each model on their website
What type of drone is it??
Excellent each one of your videos. I have a question. Do you have to register to be able to fly them?
Yes, you have to register and get your T.R.U.S.T.
@@BeachBomberFishing ok thanks for answering

These are very popular in Ukraine
I thought Ukraine is more famous for phishing.
You forgot the new feature where you pick a spot on the map and it will fly to it drop bait then back
Nice

Swellpro is shit. My fisherman max dropped out of the sky when I put it on return to home mode. Buyer beware.
It just flat out fell out of the sky?

I've heard this too, got my max a few weeks ago and now I'm paranoid about it. But will be definitely putting it to the test late September
