- I set out to ride Texada Island on my Tenere 700 without a lot of expectations. I’ve boated past the island for years and never thought much of it. Come along for the ride and tell me if you think it is an adventure motorcycle paradise.

I grew up on Texada and ride motorcycles there regularly. Love to see you enjoying it. Thanks for the video. I’m biased but I think it’s beautiful there.

As was mentioned near the beginning of the video, the largest of the gulf islands. It has a long rich history much reduced by disastrous fires. It is The best place I know of for beginners to learn to hunt deer. Lots of deer. No bears to worry about. good camp sites if you get there early. If you don’t want to have to run for home as soon as you get a deer better bring your own refrigerator/freezer and a generator. If you have grandchildren you want to learn deer hunting, take them there. Know and Obey the regulations, our CO will be there as much as he can.
