Winter in CO so no ripping :) but after I bought from Gary on way back here spent a few days in Moab (soverign double track for a day and then did the White Rim). Replaced WR250R and T7 and am very happy w the choice. Exactly between in the best ways. Zero complaints. Enjoying the AZ vids as I get to Marana often and didn’t realize where accessible terrain was other then pinal park. Keep em coming, doing a great job.
If you have a bike in the back of your truck and you’re passing anywhere near Moab, you have to stop! You can pick any direction from where I’m at and have such a variety of terrain. If ever in the area let me know!
It is quite difficult to decide between T7, AJP PR 7 , Kove 450, Husqvarna 701 or 501, or the latest craze CF 450 MT - which is nearly half the price of the others..... Anyway thanks for posting and enjoy the rides .....
Believe it or not, although somewhat similar, they are all very different bikes. You need to decide what type of riding you’ll be doing most and base your decision on that. The Kove is the best off-road choice out of those but not the best on the road.
We have such a variety in Arizona, and year round riding. When it’s hot, we head north to the mountains. Surprisingly we get rain and the desert sand has epic traction.
So far as the first Dakar, yeah the guys were being kind on the engines. And that's because of the engines were unproven in a Dakar before, but also because if you blown and engine and need to replace the whole thing, you'll get a mighty time penalty.... So from their side it was simply a better bet to "not risk it".. .. Like what would be the point of forcing the engine and then risk it having it fail and receive a stronger penalty than had you played it safe to begin with? As we saw, temperatures in Arabia are no joke
Totally agree! There was no need to push it. We need 10’s of thousands of miles on these bikes you know for certain. Until then, there will be all kinds of speculation.

great video with some great trails. your views on this politically match up perfect with mine. there's much larger issues than buying a chinese dirt bike lol. Is this in AZ?
@@DirtByk that's awesome. My little country town over here in NC is becoming not so country anymore. If it gets too bad I plan on moving west. 3 options are AZ, UT, and CO. AZ is first choice. Keep riding and be safe
I enjoyed your ride and review, I have been intrigued by the kove and looking at the 800x for the kind of riding I get to do here in Washington state. Most of my dirt riding has been split between Guam and western Washington, Arizona looks awsome for open country riding. I look forward to seeing what kind of longevity you get out of your Kove. Cheers
It appears to give it more grunt but actual torque I’m not sure. It seems to bring the power on quicker, whereas before the power was way up in the revs.

Nice job. Enjoying all your vids, as a fellow kove owner for all same reasons.
Hey man! Thanks so much. Where are you ripping the Kove at?

Thank you for your service brother. I'm prior service Coast Guard.
And you as well! Thanks for taking a moment to say something and for catching that!
Nice video ! You are a great rider, that trail looks like no joke, but fun !
Hey thanks! I really appreciate that, I’m not great but just okay! lol.
Nice one man. Awesome trails you got there. Definitely dryer than where I am riding 😅

You’ll love it. I’m just above 1800 miles.

Thanks Bob!! You got it right my friend, much bigger issues. This is Arizona! We have such a variety of terrain so it’s pick your poison! 🤙

What gps are you running thanks.
The best go to off-road moto gps: Trail Tech Voyager Pro
Any benefit to the low-end torque? I just ordered the advance key.
