Can you envision, or even imagine, a world without conflict or war-a peace-filled, fair, and just environment? This has been the stuff of dreams, fairytales, and fiction. Bumper stickers tell us to “Visualize World Peace,” yet we find it impossible to do so because of our own history. But it is actually scheduled to happen for an entire millennium! For the next two weeks, we will explore this theme of the kingdom age-an era dominated by righteousness, justice, and goodness.
This teaching is from the series The End Is Near? with Skip Heitzig from Calvary Church.
It's SO TRUE that of all the years I've been a Christian, going to Sunday Services and Bible studies, I've never really been taught about the millennial age. It's glossed over, but not really studied.

Revelation was a short prophecy, fulfilled by the 70AD destruction of Jerusalem. The Hallejuah Chorus, in Handel's Messiah, is the saints victorious exultation of the great harlot Jerusalem, destroyed by the Roman Beast empire.
Also, when he starts mentioning 1000 goats in 1000 men and 1000 talents of silver, and then he asks if it's literal or figurative, the passage doesn't say whether it's literal or figurative. We don't know that somebody didn't give just a ton of silver ore that somebody had, a ridiculous amount of sheep. There's many assumptions being made and so far I have more questions than answers.

I'm enjoying this thoroughly. However, I think he is spoken presumptuously when he says that every time 1000 is mentioned that it is literal. The cattle on 1000 hills belongs to the Lord. What are you saying the cattle on hill numbered 1200 belong to me? Or loving for 1000 generations those who love him for cursing third and fourth generation those who I am. There's so many usages of the word thousand that just been a long period of time. I'll continue to listen.
If this new heaven and new earth will happened in israael, what will happen to the rest of the nations of the earth?
Hello pastor, I have a question. What happens to those unbelievers that survive in the Great Tribulation? Will they enter the millennium together with the tribulation saints and us when we come back with Jesus? Do they still get a chance to be saved because Jesus has already returned in the millenium?
No , only believers in Christ will endure in the millennium.
For others dead will be waiting for final judgment after 1000 years end .

@@stellanarinyan6323 Interesting....when I reflect on John 5:28-29, I consider that those resurrected to a judgement will include some who did not have knowledge or circumstances to learn of Christ. But as long as Chist sees them as a willing and humble soul, they will reside with the "tribulation saints" for the opportunity to worship and learn and peace for one thousand years. As for the other willful, stubborn evil doers, they will have to wait until after the 1000 years per Rev. 20:4-5. If this assumption is correct about unbelievers surviving the great tribulation for another chance, then we should trust that Christ will choose the most sincere and honest so to live together peacefully. Otherwise, we could end with the same situation today having the inclination of imperfect persons introducing greed and harm to a life of peace and that is w/o Satan affecting them because he will be locked away.

The problem with the UN scripture inscription is that it is quoted out of context and it isn't even the whole sentence.
I have a hard time accepting that rupture preceeds the great tribulation. From the word of Jesus in Matthew 24:15-31 it happens after the great tribulation. Pls clarify for the glory of God in Christ. Thank you.

It is true that the majority of churches do not teach about the thousand years w/o satan, and that is not to give a splinter religion too much credit who knock on doors to preach of the millennium peace, but with the con that one gets it by worshiping under their umbrella. I digress. I am 98% in agreement to this message with a bit of confusion about Michael the Ark Angel. 23:50...If Daniel 12 speaks about Michael the great prince standing up to keep watch over god's people after the great war, then Michael the ark angel can also be Jesus, prince of peace. @@BertGraef Ah, the ongoing trinity debate. Depends on the translation that you read and the placement or missing articles in the text. "The word was God, a God, with God, etc". Still a trinitarian can't explain the voice from heaven that called Jesus "my son" when he got baptized, along with a few other scriptures that separate identities. You will always find one scripture to cancel out another which is why one needs to reason. The final take is that Jesus was part of all master creation, and he is the only saving grace for mankind. 🙏
The actual term "rapture" appears to be a human invention. However the event itself is described in II Peter 3:v5 and is one of the best descriptions of the beginning and end of the physical World. However it is important to note that the last sentence imposes a conditional time-frame as to when the end actually occurs.
The passage is Peter's response to scoffers of his time:
"Persons who speak thus do not know that ages ago the heavenly bodies and the earth were condensed from a vaporous condition to a solid by God’s spirits and at His command. In this way the nebulous character of the universe disappeared. But the heavenly bodies and the earth will remain in their present state only until the day on which they are dissolved by fire, as that same God has ordained. That will be on the day when the godless undergo an inward change and turn to God.”

I don’t know if there will be a Rapture of living Christian people at the beginning of the tribulation, or just the dead in Christ, but there is not a single verse that says the living will be raptured at that time. Be careful of false doctrines.

The Millennial or 1000 period is quite literal as my learned friend says however if you read Daniel 9:25 -7 carefully it firstly does NOT place the last week (7 years ) of that prophecy in the future. It runs consecutively after the 69 just like ALL the other time prophecies. Secondly it is JESUS that confirms the covenant in v. 27. Satan has NEVER confirmed a covenant with man. Study the scriptures carefully my people ! That 7 year period is not a time of Tribulation with some secret ( unbiblical/ unscriptural ) secret disappearance of the saints. There are way too many verses that say otherwise ! Thirdly, No man knoweth the time or the hour of Christ 2nd coming. So thinking that He Is coming at the end of this 7 year period is heretical at least and you will be deceived into preparing for a specific time in the future. 3 1/2 years into His ministry( beginning with His baptism in 27 AD, Christ was cut off when he was crucified in 31 AD . 3 1/2 years later after the stoning of Stephen the message went out to the gentiles. Read also Matthew 23: 38 ( your house is left unto you desolate). Emphasis YOUR HOUSE. All other verses before that Christ said “my Fathers house “.34 AD was the end of probation for the Jews. The message would now go out to the Gentiles. Revelation 21 : 2 and 10 clearly state that the new Jerusalem will be COMING DOWN OR DESCENDING from heaven! It is not going to be rebuilt here with human hands. The entire verse is dedicated to giving dimensions and its mineral composition. This “secret” rapture theory is the hook that most of this misinterpretation is hung on. Matthew 24 lists several Parables, so it’s NOT a literal disappearance of anyone !for argument sake it that were true …Remember at Noah’s flood who were ones taken away and who were ones left behind ? Satan is preparing to deceive the vast majority of sincere Christians with twisting and misunderstanding of scripture and eventually his attempt to establish a peaceful government here on earth.2 Corinthians 11:13-15. Finally just like God protected the children of Israel through the plagues and their tribulation in Egypt, he has promised to do the same for his Church. Through the Tribulation, not raptured from it. When Christ returns His reward is with him , that is judgment has already taken place ( Revelation 22:12). It’s not happening after he returns.
