The phrase perfect government sounds like an oxymoron. Our world has never known such perfection, and Utopia seems to be the stuff of fairytales. But the Bible promises a coming kingdom on earth, ruled by the Messiah, Jesus Christ. These predictions are widely scattered through the Old Testament and reaffirmed in the New. But only in Revelation 20 are we given the duration of one thousand years. Today I want to share four marks of the governmental structure during the millennium.

I suppose so but I heard that joke about the bus when I was a kid and it wasn't about politicians. Personally I would have left it out of the sermon. I'm pretty sure Skip knew what the original joke was so I'll leave to his heart to determine if he think it was inappropriate.

@@jackluminous6024 The joke wasn't from God's word. You are right however that Skip doesn't need my permission. However IMHO it might have been wise to consult with the Holy Spirit before he told it. Now I'm going to tell you the roots of the joke which was meant as a word to the wise. I first heard that joke 50 years as a child and it wasn't politicians on the bus but instead black people and they weren't called black people in the joke but a well known hateful racial slur.

I don't know how old you are but I lived during the 60s and remember how racially charged the atmosphere was at that time. I still don't understand why people are defending the joke. Absolutely! We will have a body. Yes. But will it be an ordinary material physical body? I feel sorry for anyone who doesn't get a new glorified body. Jesus allowed the disciples to touch him, but He also walked through locked doors and could disappear. No ordinary physical body can ascend straight up through the clouds to Heaven, either. So, yes, we are supposed to have a body, and it will be able to function like our material physical bodies, but I think a "glorified" body will be more spiritual overall than what we have now. And for that, I'm thankful, and hopeful.

The only thing that I don't understand is I'm the mother of a special needs adult, I spend my every waking hour except the last couple hours taking care of her and making sure she's ok, it's become my nature, will I constantly be able to be with her and protecting her, with having PTSD and the mother of someone who can't do anything for herself and also the mother of someone else who was molested at 5 years old will I be able to let my guard down knowing that I spent my whole life taking care of someone who can't take care of herself or talk for herself, will the PTSD also be gone? Also, on Christmas Day 9 years ago I got punched in the stomach and had a miscarriage, I believe that God gave me my puppy a year later so I could at least spend some years with my unborn child, will he still be with me? All I ever wanted was life to be simple and I can't have that either. Believe me, I'm quite aware that the devil is alive and well in this earth.
It is good news that I'm in God's family and that God will be able to protect me and mine even more than he does now.

So your saying the other beast that were in power with the antichrist is going to be saved?
Because they certainly go into the millennial kingdom of Christ, so u saying they will be saved?
Did any of u notice Rev 20:4-6 said that the great tribulation believer's must be in the first resurrection?
So how is the pre trib rapture view saying there will be a rapture at the beginning of the seven year period that will not include the great tribulation believer's?
U guys are blind, u suck up anything these pre trib rapture teachers say, but it will be your undoing when the peace treaty is confirmed and your still hear, because u followed man, and not the word of God, so u got what u deserve.
Rapture and Millennium are two different events. The tribulation saints will not necessarily be raptured (in the pre-trib view) but will enter millennium. If pre-trib is right, those who follow God get raptured, and the trib saints are those who DON'T believe in God at the time of tribulation but eventually COME to believe and follow Him. It's their last chance.
As for if we are "still here" it won't be because we didn't understand God's plan fully or a treaty, but will be because we rejected Christ. There's only ONE way to be saved or not to be - accepting what Christ did or rejecting it.
@@sarahsingsforchrist where's the rapture in Scripture this always gets u two rapture people to stop giving any scriptures to prove there is a rapture that's pre trib, I bet you're no different, but I will give u a chance to show what u just said in Scripture.
@@williamverdell8856 if anyone knows the scriptures well enough (especially 1 Thessalonians or parts of Matthew and Daniel and Revelation etc.) even THEY'D be fools to say with certainty what order something will happen. I could offer a scripture I think implies an order, and you could use the same verse or another to say it implies a different one. The only thing I know is I'll worship the Lord even if we get raptured partially through the tribulation or entirely at the end. I'm prepared to face ANYTHING for the Lord. I think tribulation is meant primarily to draw those who have rejected God to finally choose when the world is at its worst. Some people will come to know God, some will STILL reject Him. Will already-saved people also be there? I think that's a real possibility depending on how some interpret the scripture. I lean towards thinking we'll be protected from it by being raptured first. If you can't concede there's even a CHANCE rapture could be before tribulation, I urge you to use the caution you seem to insist on. We can't die on certain hills as if they will affect someone's salvation. I'd rather discuss this with someone who is okay whatever the Lord does in whatever order He chooses. Ultimately, when the Lord comes, all will know it, at least all who follow Him. My salvation is secure in Him, and I'm not much of an expert on WHEN this all will occur. Sometimes all options make sense to me. This seems to agitate you, the idea of pre-trib rapture. I won't guess why. But I'd caution you to basically threaten people for even thinking it could be so. I won't engage in a divisive conversation. I can't prove anything to you. Scripture is not clear about an order, only that the Lord will come like a thief and without a way for us to predict it accurately. If you suppose anyone can prove an order, scripture disagrees.

I’m very confused about your explanation of life on earth after Jesus comes. I can’t find anywhere in the book of Revelations where it talks about people who haven’t been saved, sin, and a population explosion.
Worldly preachers always trying to please men for profit! Sad day for them is coming, and their punishment is so great that God left it out of the text! Hope they enjoy their earthly treasures!

We should notice first that there are two contradicting translations of Revelation 20:4, especially on the phrase "...beheaded for the testimony of Jesus...".
Here are the two prevalent interpretations:
1. They were beheaded because they testified about Jesus.
2. They were beheaded because of Jesus' testimony.
I believe that interpretation number two is the more accurate translation.
The heads of these souls (not flesh) who were leading and enslaving them to sin were cut off because of the powerful testimony of Jesus which is his death and resurrection for all who believe. Their cut off heads were replaced by Jesus Christ, their new head, thus, they became united with his resurrection to immortality. Another benefit of that faith is that, they no longer belong to those who worshipped the beast or to those who received its spirit or mark. Instead, their new mark is the spirit who is from God. And of course, they no longer belong to the dead souls.
During the Day of the Lord, which is the bright end times, they are now serving the Lord as priests and they are using their bodies, that is, their chosen people on earth, as tools for good works by purifying them from all unrighteousness and refining them to be precious treasures. They are offering their bodies to God as their living sacrifices.
Now, these bodies or people of theirs are we, the chosen people since the beginning of world history and are being reincarnated during these bright end times to stand and endure this fair judgment. And we can stand and endure it because we will be made to understand it. Our ears and eyes will be opened because in the past, we believe the warnings of the prophets who testified about this judgment. We feared and repented like the people of Niniveh when prophet Jonah went to them. Our names were listed in God's book of remembrance so that he will be merciful to us during the Lord's Day which is now like a devouring fire to consume all the dried branches and roots of the wicked. But this fire of truth will only purify and refine and test us.
🤔About the statement that a glorified saint can no longer sin. The scripture used to support that statement appears to be "the second death has no power over them." To me, that is insufficient support for this reason: those of us who are Believers right now, living in our earthly bodies, enjoy that very same promise. But - we certainly are capable of committing sin. I so hope there is more scripture that substantiates the inability for a glorified saint to sin than that one single scripture.

Daniel 7:11 the beast that ruled with the antichrist will LIVE and go into the millennial kingdom of Christ, their lives were prolonged for a season THEY DIDN'T DIE, and Jesus preserved their lives.

If only saved resurrected body types enter the Millennium there's no need for a Government or to refer to Jesus as ruling everything is just perfect.
These represent empires: Daniel 7:4 (Babylon), 7:5 (Medo-Persian), 7:6 (Greece), 7:7 (Roman). So verse 11 and onward show us more detail (vv17-18, for example) about their influence ending / being destroyed and Christ reigning with His "holy people."
I'm confused, who are the "ungloryfied saints", don't all believers get gloryfied bodies?
They are the saints from the tribulation.
I think they are a special group that don't take the Mark of the Beast during the Tribulation so they are human and mortal but really not Saved so what to do with them? I think Skip says they get a pass to get into the Millennium. I'm not clear on what happens to them after the Millennium.
So those with glorified bodies are anyone who died before the millennium begins. Those who survive the tribulation and follow God (though they didn't follow Him before) will be in their natural bodies - able to reproduce - in the millennial Kingdom.
