There's a little bit of rasp in her singing voice, which has been missing lately in her songs. People love the rasp in her voice, but I love her with or without the rasp. Perhaps the voice changing has made her lose some of the rasp, but I miss it when it's not there. She is still growing, perhaps not in height, but in many other ways. Whatever she does, she's got me hooked. BTW, I don't know of many other artists that are as bold as Grace, who dares to sing live and without fear. Others would cringe at the possibility of having a horrible performance and then hoping that nobody else saw or heard it. That's one of Grace's endearing traits', fearlessness. Love it. As far as her height is concerned, Grace has a completely different body type from her sister and since Dave looks at least 6'3" Grace could end up being very tall while Olivia is a little taller than her mother. I don't know too much about anatomy, I wonder how much Grace's vocal chords change as her body size increases. She could actually get better. Grace often talks about her fears but she seems to sing better when she's intimidated by her surroundings.

With a backing track she can hang on to that note as long as she wants and let a whole line go by before she gets back on. Here with no backing track and just an acoustic guitar she's responsible for all the words. I think it fit fine. We'll always have the Colbert performance to go back to when we want the full note there.
