Another Lady...mean...slamming each note perfectly. One of the best in the world. Carry on.♥️✨✨✨✨✨✨
Swinging rendition of this jazz tune by Diana, Russell and Paul.
She's pure music! Marvellous. Wonderful both s a singer and pianist. You who start arguing and comparing know nothing about jazz. Or music in general for that matter. You cannot judge only by "technique" (even if she's got that too) - it is a matter of SWING - jazz musicians has got to have it. And she's got it in abundance.
Wow
She is wonderful
Truly a gift to the world
What an artist!
Beautiful Rendition!
Angelic in every way, her voice, piano, and appearance!
I had the pleasure of hearing Diana Krall live at the KC Jazz Festival some years ago and her voice was so beautiful and pure, and her piano playing, supreme! Love her!
Excellent!!!
Yes!
Her piano solo kills! DK is awesome!
Hard to get a better jazz pianist than Krall these days. A real artist.
I just went from looking at the worst to looking at the best...God bless jazz...
This is so fancy. She will be forever the best.
Lovely talented and classy lady I love Diana Krall.... Thanks for posting this video.
'have played many times w/ Paul. 'A real musician's musician !!
That darn Russell Malone is such an amazing guitarist. Love his work.
What guitar is he playing? I saw this group at IAJE years ago! Russell stole the show, and his quote, You made me love you, hahaha!
This famous Gershwin sing has what are probably the most moving and poetic lyrics ever written, by his brother Ira Gershwin. If a famous poet had written them, they would be in all anthologies of famous poems.
wonder ful this great Gershwin classic.
i thought the great Oscar Peterson came back singing with Ella's voice.
jazz will never die !
One great performer.
I'm doing this song for a school play and I sing it by myself I love your version way better.

Seamless....smooth as silk, yet spicy where it counts...Diana Krall can do very little wrong!
I had the pleasure of hearing Diana Krall live at the KC Jazz Festival some years ago and her voice was so beautiful and pure, and her piano playing, supreme! Love her! p.s. the 2 who gave this performance a hands down must be tone deaf!

She was just about the most beautiful woman on the planet, at one time.
William Rubinstein ....have you seen here recently? She still is🥰
This classic song was introduced by Fred Astaire singing to Ginger Rogers in the 1937 film Shall We Dance. George Gershwin only lived two months after the film was released when a brain tumor took his life.
How can anyone this great look like they don't even break a sweat? WOW
That's because she is a natural.
Prachtige bas ook !!

7:01 HIT THE ROAD JACK!
She was excellent than, now she is okay something doesn't hit the same now
She was good then, while learning, even better now.
my father and mine's fav....
Who's the guitarist?? Love him.
not nearly comparable to Dave Brubeck but she all the technique in her hands - course, that powerful voice is also an asset :-)
Why compare?? They are very different. Some of you guys are obsessed with comparing, especially when it comes to female musicians. Stop it, it is stupid.
@@evamdozzi5772 It makes no sense at all. Thank you!
Si
Okay, she has the soul of Elvis Presley, life gives us a repeat.
Still she is considered to be hotter than the average white female singing jazz...maybe
Good point --- why didn't I think of "ppfffff"? LOL --- just kidding; you're entitled to your counterpoint no matter how stupid it is.
thought it was earl klugh on guitars.
russell malone weak??? ppfffff
its hard for me to say this but jane monheit's version is better.
btw im going to see diana this aug!
Girl, I HAD to get outta my hot tub to come & delete this song from my playlist. What is so dang hard about just singin a classic jazz tune STRAIGHT? hmmm? whats up with all the vocal gymnastics? Leave that to the amateur.
Anita O Day, Ella, Betty Carter, did vocal gymnastics, this is just bad rhythm and lack of feeling in the interpretation
She was incredible even at this point before most of the world knew who she was when she broke out this year (1996) with the Grammy Awards nom. I like the bassist, not incredible, but very talented & enjoyable; however, the guitarist is weak if you ask me, sorry - she could have done better.
Really? Malone is playing accompaniment in this tune. Elswhere, same show - th-cam.com/video/pjuJ22Dy-ik/w-d-xo.html
she plays the piano well, but this is just not very good - the guitar player is good :D
