Pronounced “ZEE-los” (from the Greek, literally "zeal”) and based in San Jose, California, Zelos www.zelosquart... had already performed as winners of the Ladies Musical Club ensemble competition. lmcseattle.org...
They play on vintage instruments much closer in construction to what the Belgian inventor, Adolphe Sax, had in mind. In this video, they play the composer who encouraged Sax to develop the four principal members of the saxophone family, Jean-Baptiste Singelée (1812-1875).
Singelée wrote what is very likely the first work ever for saxophone quartet, the Premier Quatuor of 1857. Before Zēlos left Seattle and returned to San Jose, Sean invited them to play the final Allegretto movement of that piece, choosing Frank Gehry’s music-inspired Museum of Pop Culture as a fitting metal background for their alloy instruments.

I think the choreography was really unnecessary, and ended up looking rather silly. I never understand why some people seem to think it's not enough just to allow us to watch musicians do what they do.
