Nice guns, top of my wants list anyhow. On the sling-stud thing, I'd be inclined to use a strap around the barrel for the fore-end rather than drill the stock. I'm not a bi-pod guy anyway and the thought of drilling that lovely timber....
Hi, I just bought a walnut one a month or so ago, so are all walnuts GRADE 2? Or is this something new, I just jumped on your website and I didn’t see any reference to Grade 2. Please advise. Thanks
Great video, thanks. I do have a question. I have a .25 DRS synthetic w/500mm SHP plenum. With the larger plenum are slugs a good option? Ive yet to get it out, been sick. David
Slugs in a 500mm barrel are always iffy at best. You might be able to run a hybrid or other light slug but accuracy is not very likely. JSB kings for sure or Aea 29 grain should also do well.
The stock on the Walnut Grade 2 is actually, it's not like the GRS stock where it's cut out for your hand. The DRS action however is not ambidextrous compatible
@@UtahAirguns Ok, we’ll see if it is ambidextrous, I purchased a std DRS, just shot it 1St time today and it definitely is not ambidextrous it not terrible for me to shoot LH , but had I known, I may or may not have bought it, it does not disclose it anywhere that it rh only and it clearly is, hopefully the grade 2 stock is, looking closer at pics, it doesn’t appear to be ambidextrous. Having said all of that I really like the rifle, must of I bought a 2nd one. It would be nice knowing that now that FX as a company would either exchange the stock for a LH, or make an ambidextrous one and sell it to us LH at a reduced price, I would be willing to send back these stocks, if they made them ambidextrous. Hopefully someone sees this comment and forwards it to the MFG.
@@UtahAirgunsOk, and to add insult to injury the black synthetic stock is clearly ambidextrous, more I think of this the more disappointed I am both with me for not noticing it, and for it not being disclosed on UTAHs website or FX either, hopefully we can come up with a fair resolution, again I really like the rifle, my grade 2 one should arrive any day.
@@UtahAirgunsupdate, today is Tuesday 10-8, I received my grade 2 rifle today, and the stock is definitely not ambidextrous, it is still usable ok, but far from perfect and at this price point it should be better set up than this, definitely disappointed.
Beautiful rifle!
Very nice!! Thanks for sharing, I love a wood stock. But each have their place.
👍 really looks beautiful !!
Beautiful gun. Wished I would’ve seen this before I ordered my UX Notos. I would’ve definitely shelled out more beans for this instead.
The notos is a great setup! Call us when you want to add to the collection
Great video and a beautiful gun!
What a beautiful rifle. What’s another $1,500 on my card 🤷🏼♂️

Nice looking gun...must be nice to be able to "just throw on" a $2000 optic!

only the grade 2 have the rosewood end cap (and a more defined patern in the wood)
@@NathanVdV ok, but I don’t see them on your website, but I did send them a message directly, just waiting for a reply.
They're on the site now! Sorry for the delay!
@@UtahAirguns …..30 lashes with a wet noodle. lol. I have made contact with UAG directly, waiting for a response. Thank you

Fx really had head in anus syndrome with this one. One sling stud, dovetail and no reg gauge.
Too bad the stock isn’t ambidextrous- would have ordered one. FX must not like left handed shooters.

$330 more than the the same rifle in the standard walnut stock...,no thanks!
please help me own an FXairgun please
Biggest drawback to this toy is it lacks the guts for any longer range shots
Try the 700mm one. Plenty of power
@@jonyq04
The numbers arent very impressive. If it was able to match the m3-4, id pick one up right away
700mm with an 8mm hammer will push slugs as fast as any other FX. shot count will be pretty low with the small air capacity, but power is there.
